Got a kicker on the roster again. We've got that going for us!

All in all not bad I dont think. Added a lot of team speed. I'm a little surprised we did not draft a DT but I guess that means they have a plan for that spot. I hope!

I agree. That is the only puzzling thing about this draft, to me. Not that I have any inside information about what should be happening. It could be they are going to be lining up Hayes primarily at DT...who knows.

I agree, this was a good weekend for the Fins. I think they got better, esp at points of dire weakness. The Fitzpatrick pick and Gesicki...major difference makers.

They took Sanders with Pineiro on the board, so maybe he will work out. We haven't been too bad at picking kickers and it looks like he has a decent leg. I was only calling for Pineiro because I didn't know about anyone else and he was the only guy I saw reviewed who was decent and not picked yet.

Well it looks like this guy can kick the crap out of a football. The first one a 52 yarder into the wind had leg to spare.

I think it was Boomer who said they might move Hayes inside on passing downs. They didn't seem to panicked about kicker (like I was :-) ), so maybe they have a guy or two in mind when the draft is over.

My brother-in-law, a casual fan, texted me *****ing that we took two TEs in one draft. "Who does that?" He asks. "Only the Phins.." He said.

He got very mad with my response.

I've been watching the NFL Networks coverage the whole time. Does anyone else think Mike Mayock has had just about enough of Rich Eisen at times? Especially when Eisen started going conspiracy theory on Griffin?

I very much enjoyed this draft. I was a little, "WTF" on the Jerome Baker pick, but I've warmed on him after watching his tape. He's not as bad against the run as I initially thought.

    Concerned at DT and RG.

I was watching ESPN. Poor Mort was struggling so badly. :(

Kiper and McShay I think have figured out a decent coexistance - instead of being hostile they try to compliment each other's styles. Riddick had some nice perspective as well. I could take or leave Herbstreit on day one. Wingo was struggling a lot as well, but since it meant no Berman that's fine.

Eisen I could really only take in small doses, so between that and tradition, it's espn for me.

Yeah, I was expecting a DT in the third round, or fourth at the latest. They can grab a cheap vet at some point though, and do more rotation of guys in and out of the game. Suh stayed on the field for most of the defensive snaps, but we can't replace him with just one guy.

Seems like a really solid draft at first glance. Getting a blocking TE seems like a great move to provide help for the OL when needed for example. It feels like Gase and company had a plan for what they wanted/needed and carried it out. A plan that DIDN'T include a development QB, but if they didn't like who was left, I can't blame them.

Dolphins picked a player with the same surname and initial as me . Probably time to splash out on one of those new, fancy re-designed game shirts then....

Not hating this draft at all. Gesicki is my favorite pick of the draft.

Sadly 'I' was picked by the Colts. I wonder if my uncle would see the funny signed if I got him a jersey with my name on the back for his birthday.

I liked the first two picks. Everything after that is ok. Rudolph should have been drafted instead of Baker. We will see in a few years if I was right.
