Tannehills blind side should be good to go with these two.

''Miami coach Adam Gase has already noticed the impact early in Organized Team Activities and said, “It’s really a great thing to see how he works, him and Laremy, and how they talk through things and the amount of time they spend with each other.”

    http://dailydolphin.blog.palmbeachp...hesive-on-left-side-of-miami-dolphins-o-line/

“I saw a guy that started to notice that it’s not that easy,” Gase continued. “He went to work and he practiced hard and he was great in meetings. The way he was watching film and his development as a professional improved last year. I think he’s excited moving forward, getting Josh in there and working with him, and to really be the guy that he’s wanted to be since he came out.”

Laremy is such an interesting dude, I remember when studying him in college, he literally would dominate in big matchups, in big games, and then completely underperform when nothing was on the line, it was really frustrating and exciting to watch at the same time.

The other interesting thing about him is when he talks, he seems so mature for his age, almost like a 30 year old man, but he's still really young, I thought with his intelligence he would really embrace the intellectual part of the game, I thought he would want to rise to the challenge every week, but I don't think that was the case when you hear the comments from gase..once again, like he did in college, I think that he thought his talent would just get him through. Now its good to hear that he's taking a more cerebral approach to the game, and I'm sure being around Sitton and Kilgore, who are good smart guys will help him become that all pro we know his talent has to give.

We all know if Ryan gets good protection he can pick you apart with his accuracy and arm strength, Im pretty damn confident he's going to have that blindside protected to do so.

Laremy Tunsil, time to be a man.

I hope so. The man can use a year of not constantly running for his life.

With this line we should see good protection and the ceiling of what Kenyon drake can do.

Tunsil is supposed to be a franchise rock at that position. He's definitely got the ability. I really hope he puts it all together this year. I feel good about our offensive line this year. If Tunsil can reach All Pro status our offense is going to be really good. Guys need to stay healthy, I do like our depth, but Tunsil is the most important player on that offensive line. He may actually be the second most important player on this team behind Tannehill.

He probably had nightmares where he wakes up and screams "Dallas Thomas! Daryn Colledge!"

Daryn Colledge does not get enough hate. He is still the worst starting guard i have seen on the Dolphins.

Dallas Thomas was the worst by far.
He was the gift that kept on giving.

I had Martin as a complete bust pre-draft, saw some things in his game that I knew wasn't going to translate, sure enough, we dropped a 2nd on the guy, yeah Ryan has had to deal with inferior line play.

I'm hopeful for Sitton, but he's a short term fix. I'd really, really like the team be able to develop someone younger who's able to step in as LG for a while once Sitton moves on in a couple of years.

I'm just glad that we can say we even have a "fix". Been waiting a long time for guards on this team to not be a complete crapbag.

The thing that i really have had trouble grasping is why this organization has so undervalued the guard position for years.

Who is arguing? Columbo was washed up when he left Dallas. Martin was pillow soft and Dallas Thomas in addition to being the worst of them all even got his own teammates hurt with his horrid play.

I cannot agree. Colledge was much worse than Thomas. Thomas could at least block linebackers. Colledge did nothing right. He was the Cameron Worrell of guards. It would have been just as good to play with 10 players.

dallas Thomas has been the worst player on the team for at least a decade if not more. We did invest in guards year in and out. Here is looking at you billy turner/Douglas...Colledge played for what like 8 games? He was not worse than dallas Thomas]

Various coaches and front office people trying to outsmart the system, and save money there is my best guess. They failed.

However, before that we had several regimes that did put resources into the position and still had it blow up on them as well. So they made a good effort, but still failed. Guard has been a hole with this team for a generation, with at least one of the spots being a BAD weak link most seasons since Jimmy retired.
