I don't think they're going to pay for Capela, but they could. They could renounce the rights to Randle and stretch and waive Deng. But I think they want a bigger fish. Signing Capela would essentially mean no more max slots anytime soon. The only way I could see them doing that is if they trade for Kawhi.

I said this yesterday, but I like that move a lot. He has serious potential, and while he disappointed in Orlando, he actually played well down the stretch. On a 1-year deal, that is a nice low risk, high reward move.

Woj made a mistake, it was the Knicks that signed Hezonja, not Portland.

Stephen A Smith says LeBron does not have an opt out in his contract, he’s committed long term to the Lakers.

Even if it's possible, it won't happen because it doesn't benefit anyone but the Heat. He'll get the same money regardless, and is unrestricted.

Yeah if fultz holds it up they are nuts. Fultz and Covington Boston trumps. Hell I think fultz and Saric Boston beats with brown and the Sacramento pick and maybe rozier.

Saric in the postseason looked like a set shooter to me. Doesn’t really create his own shot. Covington to me is Jae crowder to Boston. A throw in.

Even with McConnell who looks like a 2 deep I don’t think Boston let’s it happen.

See that’s the piece I would trade. I think his value on a bad team is higher than it is on a contender.

Especially if it helps land me kawhi.

I hope being left out of two consecutive free agency periods has taught Miami fans that giving significant minutes to Rodney McGruder isn't attractive to literally anyone. Miami needs to figure out a way to get a fire sale going, but that might end with us having to give away our young guys. If you can get the assets in return, it's not the worst option.

If kawhi comes to Boston I bet it will be brown, rozier, and the Sacramento pick.

I think ainge thinks he can draft 2 deep pgs with upside

And I don’t think he likes browns shot selection at times.

But he probably has to hear kyrie say he’s happy in Boston.

If Kuzma is off the table then youre not getting kawhi leonard ..

I don't think Boston is willing to give up much. They've said as much. That makes the Sixers offer more attractive, especially if the goal is to lock LA out of Kawhi permanently.

That's incredibly ballsy, if they stick to it. If it works out for them, bravo, but boy could this backfire on them, and as good as Kuzma is, I'm not sure he's worth losing out on Kawhi.

I think Boston would give up brown and the sac pick for kawhi in a heart beat.

Brown is the piece I’d be most willing to sell on. And his value is high

Sacramento moved up this year in the lottery I wouldn’t bet on that happening again so I’d sell that pick for a legit piece if I can.

There might be some hesitation on rozier. Purely kyrie based.

Hope youre ok taking back some crappy contracts, likely at least 1. Portlands a tax team. I dont see that as a fit though unless Nurkic gets moved or is ok as a PF. Youre getting Harkless, Myers Leonard etc someones albatross contract you likely wont want.
Wheres the "You Deserve it" meme? Cause he deserves that.
The east has been trash for much of the last 15 years. Its been a 2-3 team conference much of those years and hes had the lury to waltz thru it. Boston was going to win the east next year anyway imo if Lebron stayed. I mean they played great even with Kyrie and Hayward out.

    Thats no different then usual.
    Good...Nerlens sucks.

Stephen A is a well respected journalist who breaks big national stories. Omar is a two bit beat guy who covers an irrelevant team.

But they’re both black and loud. To compare them is as lazy if I were to conclude that you’re a racist cause you’re a Boston fan. That wouldn’t be fair to you. So I’m not gonna do that.

Espn is a joke and so is Stephen a. And yeah I’m racist I think lebron James is the best player of all time.

I would gladly play your pelicans in a final. If you ever get there. Admittedly the road is gonna be harder.

While I don't agree with it, many people feel like Stephen A. Smith is awful. Taking a shot at him while also claiming Omar (the worst Dolphins beat writer) is awful on a Miami Dolphins forum really shouldn't be looked at having any thing to do with race. Aside from them both being black, as you noted, they are incredibly arrogant and opinionated. I don't think comparing them is out of bounds.

    Championship.

He’ll be a good backup to Rondo, who will likely not play big minutes until the playoffs. Keeps Jrue off the ball. Good signing of a local kid.

Incoming classic lebron move..join a team that tanked for years, and trade those young assets for established stars.

I read somewhere, maybe this thread, that lebron orchestrated the Clarkson and Nance trades knowing he’d be joining the lakers. The man is shrewd.

I’m probably a little burned by the fact that Stephen a per espn ask it seems comments on everything. If he’s an insider with hoops then ok. I don’t watch much espn these days other than the actual game cast. They’ve even ruined Monday night football.

The other stuff I find to be filler and garbage material. Ratings drawings more than anything else.

Kelly is a bonafied idiot football wise.
