Wasn’t that Escobar? He pulled a Julian Thomas and got his *** kicked by the DB. Edit: Well, I thought I saw Escobar on the back of his jersey, but since everyone, including Armando, is saying Gesicki then I must be mistaking. Anyway, agree that was piss poor by RT and an crappy play call by Gase. They better get their head out of their ***, soon, or we are going to lose this ****ing game!
That was an awful throw by Tannehill, but an even better play at it by Butler. Gesicki needs to win those battles against someone much smaller than him. Hes a rookie so he gets a pass, but you need to muscle that little **** off you.
Judge him after the season, and then we will see. I mean we're not even one game into the season and the crying begins even though everything looked quite good so far and we're still in the lead...
Uh we have had 7 seasons to judge tannehill. He doesnt get a clean slate every season, it doesnt work that way. I wont overreact about his first mistake this season, but dont get it twisted, we have seen more than enough to pass any judgment on him by now.
imo it was a bang bang play. Gesicki didn't have time to react. The pass went to Butler and not the far EZ pylon. It was so bad Butler really didn't have to jump.
The pass was a little low and Gisecki was diving to where the ball would have been. The defender got a good spinning jump to make the pick though....it wasn't an easy catch. That one was partially on Tannehill, partially on bad luck from a great defensive play. If the ball was higher & at a different angle then they had an easy TD.
Cleveland had two chances to win it and squandered them both. Still, it was a good comeback to get it to overtime in the first place.
Serious question - how serious a threat are these lightning strikes? Isn't there a way to mitigate the risk - or get everyone to sign disclaimers?
It was definitely a poor throw, however Gesicki got tossed aside by someone much smaller than him. If anything a big man like him should at least be able to commit offensive PI to prevent the pick at worst. Need more toughness from the rook.
Where were you during the 98 yard drive, and rest of game. Guy has played well all game. If Gesicki dont get out physicalled, and schooled by a vet he's at least got a chance to hopefully break it up. It's a bad throw, no doubt, but these comments are just ridiculous IMO
I'd definitely like to see more read-option/bootleg plays for Tannehill, maximise the options. Some of these plays definitely feel predictable.
It was a bad pass but understandable. Tanny hasn't ayed in a year and a half and he's still developing a rapport with gesicki. You won't see these throws by week 5
You're right Berezo Gesicki needs to get tougher, but we all know this. Including the person throwing the rock to him. So why put him in that situation where gesicki's toughness would be tested? Even backup qbs know you place the ball where only your guy has a chance to catch it or draw the P.I.
I just thought of something- what if this weather keeps dragging on? How screwed up would it be for them to postpone the game and finish it on our bye week?
We look lethargic, and we are lucky that we are playing the titans because a team with more speed and athleticism would have us blown out like the bills suffered today.
We are all assuming it was a fade route but for all we know gesicki was supposed to stop on the goalline. I think it was a fade route but I want it confirmed post game
