You might have posted that 7 games too early. He's 4-1 in his last 5. Last loss was that crap of a game in Baltimore in 2016.

Anyway, he IS 10-1 in his last 11 which is impressive for sure. 11-5 overall with Gase.

jboogie The sky is NOT falling!

You could rephrase is as "Tannehill hasn't lost a game since 2016" for a nice clickbait headline.

    The Dolphins are 10-1.

Tannehill is a big part of that.

Well, considering that they were 6-10 in the middle of that 10-1 run without RT, I'm not sure how anyone can debate that.

Been a Thill supporter. I’d like Gase to use our backs more in the running game although we tried today. However not a fan of these screens, would like to throw downfield a bit more and would like Gase to trust Ryan more. I feel we did it today but only because Gase was forced to. I think with Thill healthy and these new toys we should be a bit more north and south on the offense.

The screens are very purposeful and don't have to work 100% of the time in order to have an impact. The point here is that with our speed, we are looking to force the defense to defend us across the entire width of the field, not just vertically. Doing this causes problems for the defense in terms of how they can attack us.

The threat of a screen is often more powerful than the screen itself. It limits the defensive game plan and opens up other opportunities on mismatches throughout the game. The double reverse throw to Grant is a perfect example. The reason he wasn't covered is because the threat of the screen is real.
