First of all, I had no idea that Grant had that type of speed. Dude has a extra gear. Secondly, even though I'm not a bonafide Tannehill fan, I will admit he's look impressive in the first 3 games. Accurate deep balls, and protecting the ball by not throwing multiple INTs. His QB rating right now is 4th in the NFL at 121.8 right now. Im impressed. Let's hope it continues.
I was just trying to figure out what Tan's TD to Int stats are this year, I think it's 7:2 but I'm not too sure.
Yes, pretty good when you have a 3.5:1 TD to INT ratio. Tanny is also 40-40 or .500 now in games he has started. Poor start to his career, but things are looking up under Gase.
Our offensive team speed is so much greater than it has been in a very long time. RB: Drake TE: Mike G (I will never learn that last name ...) WR: Stills, Grant, Wilson Look at what the Eagles did last year, look at what KC is doing this year. Fast, create mismatches, let speed and playmakers win battles.
Gesicki? I wish we were getting him more involved, but dont want to force it. Albert Wilson and Jakeem Grant have been the surprises of the season. Kenny Stills stepped up into #1 receiver mode also. I didn't know he had it in him to be consistent.
You can create nightmares for opposing teams, Stills, Wilson and Grant at Receiver, Gesicki at TE and Drake at RB on the field at the same time. Any one of them could take it to the house at any given moment.
This is the direction of the new NFL with the rule changes favoring the offense and protecting players. Teams no longer have to worry about small/light built speed demons getting hurt going over the middle anymore.
