Me too. Called it the moment I saw it. Gase’s playcalling and general coaching is absolutely terrible. He was able to blame last year’s disaster on Cutler but he can’t hide this year. This is all on him.

What’s that solve? We bought online help this year. I get your point and than we have this whole who’s our QB? I get it I’m not a fan of Ryan or Gase anymore and like to see them
Both go if I’m being honest.

I know it’s been a while but man I’d like bil cowher back in the NFL players loved and respected him.

Gase isn’t going to be allotted time to bring in a rookie QB and ask for patience with this team. They already played that card. Way to many teams turn it around relatively quickly we just don’t seem to have the proper talent or personnel in the front office scouting etc to do that.

We had one offensive TD and ONE good drive that 1st half.

Well...after thinking about it over night. We are what we are. Everyone on our team; the FO, coaches, and players alike share some responsibility for us being the way we are. I am not going to worry about it anymore.

I'm old enough to remember a HC who came specifically to Miami b/c of Tannehill and has supported him to no end while providing zero competition at the position. That's the first problem that needs to be addressed, that fraud.

They were what we thought they were, What we thought they were. They are who we thought they were. That’s why we took the damn field. If you want to crown them, then crown their asses. But they are who we thought they were. And we let them off the hook.”

I’m so torn anymore I hate hate hate that my team I grew up watching has sunken to such lows over the last 2 decades. Yet her I am contemplating rooting against them to succeed so we can possibly get a new coach and QB that can turn things around. Gase failed his first two years here by refusing to go get a young gun to groom should Ryan not pan out he’s hellbent on making a square peg fit in a round hole!

Online has been a problem for us for over 10 years and we still don’t have solutions we just keep repeating our mistakes.

I question whether anybody in our FO and coaching staff has the ability to accurately evaluate offensive linemen. It's such a critical position group and unless we take a guy high in the draft, we usually fail.

But the QB needs to appraise a situation like that (down on the scoreboard late, offensive linemen hurt) and realize there will very likely be pressure right after the snap. The adjustment to be made for him is to take stock of the pass rush right after the snap, before surveying passing options downfield, and move his feet and the pocket immediately after the snap if need be.

It appeared however that Tannehill approached it as though the score was 0-0 on the first drive in the first quarter, with a fully intact starting offensive line, and surveyed his downfield options right after the snap, at the expense of his awareness of the pass rush. Consequently he was eaten alive.

So the play call is one thing, but the QB also has to adjust what he does based on the situation at hand, regardless of the play call.

The defense shut them down until that point, but the offense was responsible for a mere 10 points. Considering that punt returns for touchdowns are a rarity in helping teams win games, 10 points offensively at that point in a game is relatively weak. The 17-0 lead belied how weak the offense looked, even with Tunsil on the field.

If not for a drop by Drake they would have had another TD.

Oh, they suck. But pointing out that they had only 1 TD drive without giving some of the reasons why isn't showing the entire picture.

Every team every Sunday has a plethora of “if’s” each game. So I can not withdrawal my criticism on an IF Drake catches the ball.

Even "IF" they had scored on the Drake drop they would still suck this season, IMO. I was juts pointing out a point in the game.

And if you want to get technical, Drake is a part of the offense, and on that play he sucked. lol

How do you know they would have had another TD? They weren't even in field goal range.

Did you see the wide open field on that pass he dropped? It's not a 100% certainty, but Drake is extremely fast and with that much room it's pretty likely that he would have scored.

Yes, but that's one offensive TD more than Cinci. Both teams moved the ball decent in the first half.

I instantly thought the same thing.....that side of the field was empty from the right hash to the sideline. It wasn't a definite TD but I really liked his odds.

I think two of his biggest issues are vision, as in lack of seeing the whole field when he drops, lack of peripheral vision, and lack of quickness in the pocket to navigate when protection breaks down.

could be those things upstairs as well.

Shame on Gase and tannehill for not recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of the qb.

pressure in the pocket only intensifies as you get closer to a championship, I don't trust Ryan in those situations..Thats not a good feeling.

It seems to me that you always have a reason for a replacement QB' not just this game. It's fine to have an opinion; even if it is different from mine, but to try to hide your anti-Tannehill position is ludicrous!

I'll put it this way....he's the clumsiest elite athlete I've ever seen in my life. It's impossible to get past all those fumbles/bobbled snaps over the years and point the finger anywhere other than Tannehill. And I just don't know how you change that, it's a mental thing to relax in the moment and execute.

Our offense has been putrid all year, it is literally held us back and with even an average defense? We would likely have 1 win max.

When have I hide that? I don’t believe in Tannehill as a franchise Super Bowl quarterback NO! There it’s public but I’m also not saying he totally sucks but he’s not going to raise the level of players around him.

I’m not going to feel comfortable asking him to drive down a two minute come from behind win either. he’s a nice guy, wants to be elite but he just doesn’t have it in him.

We need a new Quarteback and we need a new Headcoach who actually adjusts to his teams strengths instead of trying to force players into his system of mediocrity.

Been a Dolphins fan all my Life and I don’t like the direction Ross is going and the choices he’s made in front office personal.

I gave Gase 3 years to show me his vision we still have no identity. We have gaping line issues, a caretaker journeyman quarterback, a really boring unproductive scheme and tons of excuses and a Coach who seems to push the blame on everyone but himself.

Who are we? What are we a rushing team, a passing team? A dink and dunk west coast wannabe team? Surley we would be working towards something but I just don’t see it.

I’m not blind to my teams weakness and I call them out because I care. I’m tired of rooting for losers, mediocrity. I’m tired of national tv meltdowns year after year, I’m tied of the excuses.

I know no one gives a **** what I think I’m just a dumb fan with no football knowledge and I don’t sit and analyze ever snap looking for a sign of greatness. I wouldn’t care if we had a very competitive exciting team that fought tooth and nail every week and we lost. This team has Zero Heart since Gases arrival.

So no I’m not happy with our team. I expect more from this Franchise no I demand more!

    I wish more people did!

Its the crux of this dilemma that we are in with him..Its the bottom line here, he doesn't deal with pressure well, and pressure is always going to come on the road to a championship, so how far can you mask the weakness.
