I'm using points allowed which is the standard. You're using yards allowed for some reason.

Also the dramatic come from behind victory against Atlanta happened against a 27th ranked defense

You need a good qb and a great defense
Or a great qb with a good defense.
    We have neither.

Great defences only last so long but a great qb can last 10 years plus.A great qb can at least make the team more enjoyable to watch instead of the same boring *** games we have forced to watch for the last 20 years.
This team needs to search until you find a true franchise qb and then build around him.Not saying he will but if gase does get fired I see no way a new GM and coach will tie their fate to tannehill.

News to me.Def have always been ranked by yards. As for the falcons D when has our QB have rallied us from that far behind in a meaningful game?

How is Cam Wake steady? He's been pretty ineffective this season? The entire DL is garbage right now.

Also, LMAO @ Tannehill getting "elite money."

He is due $26 million next year. Well within 'elite money' range to be honest. To be fair, his contract has not been a bad deal up till now by NFL QB standards. That certainly changes due to his injuries, failure to improve under Gase, and that $26 million price tag next year.

If you are looking to rebuild the team, saving $13 in cap space has to be really tempting.

Even that money next year is only elite money for a year or two until the next group of QBs gets record contracts thus shuffling Tannehill's contract to about the middle again.

Note I'm not using that as an argument for keeping Tannehill. Just saying in reality both now and future his contract really isn't bad.

The reason the game are so boring is because the NFL has listen to all the fans call the game boring so the NFL made it unfair for the defense to play against the offense and have a very huge advantage against them....I like it the was it was before the did all that and have never seen a good defensive game as boring .At one time stick'em was illegal but now the NFL gives the WR's gloves with super glue in them..They cant catch any better and all these one handed catch are only because of those gloves..

First off, welcome to the forums!

As to us being horrible on defense, we're 11th in passes defended, 1st in interceptions, 8th in turnover differential, 9th in points given up and 6th in defensive TD's. Our defense has had some issues in recent weeks but they're far from "horrible". Although we've given up a ton of yards this season, we're still pretty tough to score on besides those two horrible games.
