Should help in defending the run though I haven't seen the redskins this year and ziggy is in the twilight of his career

If this was 2013, I'd be pretty happy with the Ziggy signing. I think he is running on fumes at this point in his career, but we need some bodies to line up, so you hope he can at least be solid rotation depth.

I've developed serious doubts about Gase as a head coach and offense guru this year, but all the injuries provide Ross cover to give Gase another year to turn it around. I wish Tanny had stayed healthy and the starting OL intact, so we'd at least know how the offense would look when Gase has what he wants to run it.

Even if the defense folded like it has, we'd at least know about one side of the ball, and losing a shoot out game is not the worst viewing experience for a fan.
