Breaking News: Brock is the starting QB against the Jets coming up.
    https://jetswire.usatoday.com/2018/10/31/dolphins-qb-brock-osweiler-to-start-vs-jets/

Brock is confident and I like that :) So when asked When Ryan is healthy and ready to come back Brock said Absolutely not. That he doesn't plan to give up the position. Nothing personal but he wants to be the starter. I love it.

    https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/nfl/miami-dolphins/article220865385.html

So without getting into the whole Ryan bashing it seems Brock is going to fight for the position and that means Ryan has to prove and step up. We seem to have a full blown Quaterback challenge going on. May the Best QB win! (Still wont effect this seasons win/loses I pick 8-8) but maybe we have a resolution to if either of these QB's stay next year.

That would be more impressive if he had more than one win.

Why would he want to go on the bench?
What NFL quarterback doesn't want to start?

Sorry rather have Tannehill and i dont like Tannehill as a quarterback. Ryan is a lot more skillful and can make every throw. The problem is that he doesnt use all his skills and doesnt make the throws he can make. Lacks confidence and shows lack of command which is also lack of leadership.

    Osweiller is just bad.

Im for any kind of change at the position, its been stale for years. Maybe they finally realize it's time to pony up this offseason and swing for the fences on getting someone than can make a difference. QB or linebacker, this team needs an identity.

He's a worse player and would be benched if Tannehill was available. I saw an interesting theory though on Tannehill. Read that perhaps he's maybe playing games sitting out the season hoping to be cut to move on to a better team next year...thoughts?

Fake news headline. He didn't say he wasn't not going to bench. He said his mentality is that he wanted to keep starting.

"Every single week, in my eyes, is the Super Bowl. Every single week is the biggest game out there because this sport is so special and you never know when you're going to get another opportunity," he said Wednesday, via the Miami Herald's Adam Beasley. "So when you do get the opportunity, shoot, I play every single play like it's my last. I put laser focus on every single play, and I'm playing as hard as I possibly can so hopefully I never have to go back to the bench."

Who would pay him what hes due? 26 Million next year for his talents are way over priced. Plus who would want a QB that would do that to his team?

Listen to the beginning when asked about him trying to prove to himself or to anyone that he can play the position and he said my mentality is that Im not going to give the position back.

He knows what everyone else knows. Ryan Tannehill hasn't played well enough in his career to just be handed the job back once healthy.

If, and this is what matters, Brock plays good football and we win and look like a competent offense then he has a shot at sticking around as the starter.

Thus far he has not played well enough to warrant given the nod, he will have at least one more game to prove otherwise.

Multiple sports doctors that I've seen on TV discussing the injury have pointed out that it looked really, really bad on tape. Something along the lines of the angle at which the shoulder was pushed back leads to a lengthy recovery time. It's just a bad injury. No conspiracy happening.

Maybe we'll move on from him next year, but as far as this year goes I don't think Tannehill is sitting on purpose for some devious scheme.

    Slightly left of center
I saw it. Try and put your arm in that position. Any of you. Just get your am in the same position. Stretch as long as you want. And then hang 275 lbs on it and try as hard as you can to throw the football you're squeezing.
With the kind of forces involved THills arm could have come right off. Bones should have broken.

It's amazing he can hold his self to pee with that arm. Hope he can make it back this season or we're screwed.

That report literally goes against everything we’ve seen Tannehill do or say over the last 5 years. It would like seeing a report that Donald Trump plans to be classy and not respond to an insult or hearing Obama plans on giving a speach without using the word “I”. Technically possible but goes against all previous experience.
