1st and 20 and you run 3 short plays in a row...

I get what Gase is doing with those calls, but I mean, come on... Sure, if everyone does their job that pass on 2nd has potential to pick up nice yards, but that's putting way too much stress on everything being perfect. Sometimes just grab the game by the balls and actually run a play to pick up some yards easier than having to be perfect with blocking a quick hitter to the WR at the LOS. Looked way too content there to just take 3.

Started off on the 43-yd line and couldn’t even get it inside of the 25.

    Go offense!

Brandon. We have a **** offensive line, a **** QB, and you want us to 5 step drop coming off a defensive turnover against a rookie QB? Mistakes lose you games. That series was perfectly called in my opinion based on the results.

It's like the Gase offense has no answer to a holding call, except to play it safe and punt or FG kick. This is a fatal flaw for an offense.

Problem is that might work with Wilson out there but it’s Amendola instead now. Gase is stubborn and vanilla with his offense...it’s his way or no way instead of tailoring to strengths of the team.

You have to make that catch. Not a good throw. But you have to catch that.

Then throw short slants , Amendola isn’t what Wilson can do behind the line.

That's a pretty difficult catch for any WR to make, letalone Parker. That ball was way behind him.

The ball went through his hands, at his back shoulder. It was a tough catch. But if you are supposed to be a big time WR, you make that catch. Not like he had to stretch back for it.

We are 5 drives into the game, how many wr screens have Gase called? You must be in the group of people that cant decipher what "every play" means.

Just rewound it... it's not exactly on his back shoulder. it's behind him, off his body, and he is stretching back for it. Does go through his hands though, probably should have had it, looks like PArker felt that way too, but either way, it's a terrible throw, and tough catch IMO

Great open field tackle by McCain to save a force a 3-and-out

I like the adjustment of Minkah outside. The Jets have a depleted WR corp too, even worse than Miami, but getting McCain back in the slot was the right move.

Dolphins D is suddenly saving our lives. This team is all over the place. One game the D is swiss cheese the next they are a brick wall. Only against bad teams I guess...

It has to be bad defensive coaching?
    Meaning the previous games.
We obviously have talent if the defense is called good?

Agreed. ill trust you as I just saw it once. I am probably just expecting too much from Parker. A guy that is supposed to have insane body control hasn't really shown that too much since coming out.

More great field position, which needs to turn into points. Feels like we have controlled the first half so far, but have a FG to show for it.

I don't know what to think about this secondary going forward. Minkah has beyond flashed, McCain has had his moments, but seems to be better towards the line of scrimmage, like our other 2 safeties.
