I'm pretty excited about the coming draft. At least, as fans, Parcells' track record gives us some idea of what to look for, so we can narrow down the speculation a bit. Man we need a solid draft. If we're able to get 5 guys out of the draft and on the field immediately and grab a solid player here and there in free agency, we should be much improved over this seasons debacle.

 

If we can have a solid draft to plug some gaps and give guys like JT and Vonnie some support we could be in contention next year, I firmly believe that. Maybe bring in Julius Jones if we cant keep Chatman, a free agent wide reciever and a steady vet to support Beck at quarterback. If our defense had played half way decent this year we could have been looking at 8-8 IMO.

 

Ditto that FfiC, hard to "know" what is going to happen and when it will happen if it ever happens...

Should be a blast of an offseason though, from FA, to the Draft, to who we cut, and who we try to trade, and the HC and GM situation, we FinFans won't be bored...

It will be an intresting offseason for sure.

 

I just want to see what happens this offseason for the Phins.

As of right now I am not sure what Parcells role will be.

I know he has an ego and all, but I also know he did say the final decision on all personnel is the GM. (Granted that could be a puppet based on who he brings in.)

For some reason I just do not see him being down there having that much of an impact. I need at least one season to tell.

I would be Cautiously optimistic at best if I was a Phin fan, because I would not know his role there.

 

One sure thing is that parcells know how to draft and not picking bust, that a good thing when we have the number 1 pick.

 

Nice article, I am excited about this offseason, I think we are going to finally see some progress.

 

I just hope Parcells ego doesn't get the best of us. He may decide that anbody he doesn't bring in is expendable, such as Mueller Ginn Beck ect.

 

I think Mueller is already G.O.N.E.
