The season is officially over with today's loss and all of the teams we needed to lose winning. Any one who doesn't see this is an idiot. These are the things that need to happen to turn this franchise around: Tannenbaum Fired Grier Fired Gase Fired along with all the other coaches Hire a tough defensive minded coach(Williams if the browns don't retain him looks like the best choice) Find new offensive lineman in the middle Revamp the defensive line-They're all old or not very good Let Parker walk. Get Fitzpatrick back at his natural position
Why is that his natural position? He played more corner at Alabama, and hes played far worse at safety this year than corner...
I am still on board with retaining Gase. We are stuck with Tannehill for next year. Give them another year together. The injuries this year have been unreal. I don't think any coach side Bill B could of won with the injuries weve suffered this year...not that I think Gase is great.
We are stuck with Tanny and Gase next year but definitely need a proven DC. No more excuses tho next year playoffs or clean house!
I love when teams that are terrible on the road go and play a team that dominates at home and loses, everyone loses their mind. Miami wasn't setup to win this game. It shouldn't be a shock that they wound up getting beat up. They kept it close for a while. They're still mathematically alive. A win would have only upped their percentage 16%. Weird things happen stop crying and have a beer.
Definite GM change needed. But I don't think Ross sees it. I think Burke is gone after this year. That's it. The "OC" should probably go too but he's mostly pointless with Gase calling plays. He should get a new OC and give up play calling. Not sure that happens though.
Need to completely start over: GM, HC, QB. It's too bad Indy, Tennessee and Ravens all won. Ravens might still lose to Chargers, but we'd need at least one of Indy and Tennessee to lose their next game (Indy plays Giants, Titans play Redskins) or we're officially out because Indy and Tennessee play each other so one will end up with 10 wins if they both win their next game.
I live in Ravens country and every year I get **** for being a Dolphins fan. It sucks year after year to see this bull****.
I’ve had enough of Gase and crew. Same story same old thing. Also his road record is so bad and embarrassing. Seems unreal.
I see some pieces but it’s like we are so far away at so many positions, I don’t know where to begin. Maybe another year of development and a good draft but man this is frustrating. I feel like we’ve been rebuilding our OL since Marino retired.
Its ok. I've found that nothing wipes an *** better than a dolphins jersry. Usually only takes one pass
I thought we had a productive offseason last year. Do that again and only have half the injuries. We should be competitive. Defense coach appears to suck. But does he have any real talent on defense to work with? Hard to tell with all the missed tackles and out of position plays. But that falls on the def. coach. So bye bye burke.
LOL, yeah Ravens fans here in Baltimore want to run him out of town. Yet, these idiots have no idea how good they got it. They won 2 superbowls in 12 years. Yup. Especially for an expansion franchise and gifted with talent. Can you honestly imagine the Fins with their front office?
NONE of this will happen. Well Maybe Parker will be traded or let go but otherwise nothing will happen. Gase will get his last year, Ryan will be his QB and we will end up 8-8 9-7 either squeekinto playoffs by 1 game or miss out by 1. Nothing will change here Ross will say were on the verge just a few tweaks lets give Gase 2 more years.
Here's a choice - would you rather Gase with a new GM or Tannenbaum with a new HC? I'd like to see Gase (and any HC from here on out) given more control. We've had high-level leadership issues in this organisation for a while. Remember the whole who answers to whom thing? It's been bad leadership structure and it needs cleaning up. I want to see Gase AND ANY HC FROM HERE FORWARD - given full control/say into the GM choice. You can't ask any HC to produce results and then limit their ability to produce. You also can't bring in a HC - as they did with Gase - and impose conditions, e.g. Gase has to be the play caller. You bring in someone to take the helm, then give them the helm. Is Gase the answer, I'm not convinced, but I'm also not convinced he's been allowed to do what he wants. And I've never been convinced by Tannenbaum.
Wow, season isn't over yet lol...The playoff situation has already been broken down and we are certainly not mathematically eliminated just yet. We need to win our last two games and we need some help with other teams losing. Most of us had either the New England game or this game as a loss so it's not the end all. For what it's worth....If we do in fact finish 8-8, 9-7, or worse 7-9 BOTH Gase and Tannehill WILL be back so find another team to root for until they are gone.
Yeah, and that has nothing to do with me wanting either one of them back. I personally don't care at this point. It has more to do with the ineptitude of the front office and the fact that Ross seems to be either be extremely patient, oblivious, or just doesn't care. I still haven't figured out which one it is.
I know Ross spends plenty of money, but there is something lacking in the people he hires to run this organization.
Root for the Ravens to miss the playoffs. We need Harbaugh. Whether we find the right GM or not who knows, but if Harbaugh wants full control I'd say give it to him. Time to hire a proven coach since Ross hasn't proven he can find the next Sean McVay or Doug Pederson.
