...We haven't won a playoff game since Lamar ran for 200 yards. We are just good enough to be in the hunt every year but not good enough to make it. Why are yall going crazy like you aren't used to this or expecting this?

So I am going to say some positives, regardless of what I think about players or coaches.

    Tannehill
    Is a tough SOB

    Gore
Great getting to watch him run this year and find little spots to cut in and pick up yards. Runs so hard.

    Drake
    Miami Miracle

    WR Group
Explosive and fun when they were healthy.

    TEs
Uh, O'Leary had a good first game with us.

    OL
Tunsil had a good year for the most part.

    DL
They played hard despite not coming up with many sacks.

    LBs
    I like the rookie.

    CBs
X is a monster and Fitz is going to be so good.

    Safeties
McDonald had some incredible games this year and him and Jones always laid the hat when they were there for a tackle.

    K
Sanders had a great rookie year

    Gase
Being 7 and 7 with this roster isn't a bad year.

    Burke
    Solid beard

    Rizzi
    Still the dude

The Pats loss to the Steelers, so that helped a lot. Helping to keep them from another Super Bowl run is part of a successful season to me.

I hope we stay mostly injury free in 2019 and we see the best of Gase/Tanny. That should at least be enough for a playoff run.

Possibly starting the demise of the Patriots is more than good enough for me.

Is a tough SOB - Seconded. And he does make some pretty throws. If he were behind a healthy/decent OL I think we'd see some great play. But he isn't, he suffers because of it, and he doesn't whine. Dude should get a statue near the arena just for surviving everything he's been put through! :)

    Gore
Great getting to watch him run this year and find little spots to cut in and pick up yards. Runs so hard.
This team has had some incredible success at finding RB talent. I thought Gore was a poor pickup - old guy, finishing off his career. Boy was I wrong. Guy's a tank.

    Drake
    Miami Miracle
And more! Only puzzle is why he doesn't get more reps at times, but glad to have him on the team.

    WR Group
Explosive and fun when they were healthy.
Yep. The season started with some serious potential. Had the OL held up we could have seen some great deep plays. And respect to Stills for his off the field work.

    TEs
Uh, O'Leary had a good first game with us.
I have hope for Gesicki in his second year. He had a lot to learn, and in the pre-season he was putting in work on his blocking. If he keeps that up he could turn into the talent we hoped he would be.

    OL
Tunsil had a good year for the most part.
Yep. And James has been decent too. Even Sitton and Kilgore looked to be good pickups. We made some moves in the right direction with the OL but injuries got the best of them. We do need to get younger, and add depth, but things looked promising at the start of the year.

    DL
They played hard despite not coming up with many sacks.
... Wake is another player we should be proud of. Godchaux plays hard. Again injuries hurt us. Hayes was looking really good and that freak injury was horrible to see.

    LBs
    I like the rookie.
McMillan is getting his first proper season and looks like there's something there. Jerome Baker has played well and Stephone Anthony adds good depth. If coaching can develop these guys I think there's reason for confidence there.

    CBs
X is a monster and Fitz is going to be so good.
Yup. Our secondary doesn't look like a liability for the first time in a while.

    Safeties
McDonald had some incredible games this year and him and Jones always laid the hat when they were there for a tackle.
Jones is quality and glad we retained him. Fitz gives us an option at safety if not depth in a pinch. I think we need some changes at defense in terms of strategy/tactics, but we've got talent. Kiko might be up and down but he has big play potential, and passion. We could do a lot worse.

    K
Sanders had a great rookie year
    Nice to see!

    P
Haack has been pretty good too.

    Gase
Being 7 and 7 with this roster isn't a bad year.

    Burke
    Solid beard
    :D

    Rizzi
    Still the dude
Humble guy, but the more I hear him the more I think we might have a real gem there.

    Other Coaches
We picked up some new guys this year and though it's harder to see what effect they have, I have hopes they were moves in the right direction, and if Gase were permitted to change the DC too, it might have been an even better story this year.
