I don’t know why you included the entire season when he barely got on the field before the bye but over the last 5 weeks as the actual starter he averages 146 through the air and 85 on the ground. And they were the #1 ranked defense going into Week 9, after the week 10 bye is when Lamar took over, it’s essentially the same defense Flacco had, the difference is they’re barely on the field now because with Lamar they dominate time of possession, they wear your defense out with their new rushing attack and they convert the majority of time on 3rd down. They basically threw a rookie who didn’t get many significant reps in camp and practice to the wolves midseason while switching up the entire offense and telling him hey I know we’re under .500 but we need you to save our season and he’s doing exactly that. Against the Chiefs Baltimore had two cracks late at ending the game on 4th down but they let them convert both times, that’s the only reason they aren’t undefeated with the guy. I actually hate that they might make the playoffs because Lamar is saving Harbaugh’s job and I desperately want both of them here!

What's interesting to me is how Harbaugh changed that offense on the fly successfully. He knew Jackson wasn't going to come in and throw for 500 yards. He adjusted. He fit his scheme to his talent. Do we see Gase doing that?

Yes, yes we do. Gase knows our oline sucks now which is why we are running more. Very different offense then the one that started the season

I included all of his play because it matters.

However, if I had ONLY included his 5 starts, as you want, his passer rating, and most of his other stats, would look worse or the same.

    58% comp rate
    4 TD's
    3 INT's
    6.4 Y/A

    79.1 passer rating

In week 8 I believe the Ravens had the #2 defense. lol....He was named the starter in week 11.

In the Ravens first 9 games their offense rushed for over 100 yards 3 times. Even if you take away Jackson's rushing yards these past 5 games the Ravens have rushed for over 100 yards in all 5 games.

Again, Jackson is not good and is not the reason the Ravens are playing well.

Lamar is throwing to John Brown, someone named Willie Sneak IV, and a late round rookie named Mark Andrews, lol. No excuses...he is just making s**t happen. I love it.

Took a 4-5 team to 8-6. Harbaugh is so lucky.

Try Snead and Crabtree as his main WR's and Mark Andrews as his TE...lol..Have you really not heard of Willie Snead or Mark Andrews? You should watch college and NFL football sometime. They're entertaining...lol

Brown had way better stats when Flacco was throwing him the ball.

We need the Ravens to lose to the Chargers this week to have a chance at the playoffs. Keep that in mind this weekend.

So you are going to sit here & act like they have above average skill players? Have you seen Crabtree's stats for the past 2 years? Give me John Brown's stats for the last 3 years, lol. Please tell me how great these scrubs are.

If you don't like Lamar, just say so and leave it at that.

1 or 2 doesnt really matter, but they were 1st

    https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/ravens-defense-falters-again-leaving-questions-heading-into-bye

...“The Ravens (4-5) have lost three straight, and a defense that entered Sunday’s game ranked No. 1 in the NFL has looked vulnerable and fatigued in the past three weeks. The upcoming bye may help the Ravens’ defense find fresh legs, but they also need to find answers.” ...

Looks like they found an answer.

Uhh yeah it’s because of Lamar and the RPO! He turned a practice squad nobody into a consistent 100 yard rusher.

    This statement is just ignorant.

A QB with a passer rating under 80, when the league average this season is high 90's, means something.

In reality, using wins to judge individual players is what's ignorant. It's lazy, too.

I have nothing against Lamar...I would have liked to see him fall into the 2nd and see what he could do for the Dolphins.

However, and after watching him play, I'm glad they didn't draft him. He's a bad QB. He might get better, but again, I doubt it.

Technically, the Ravens don't matter IF the Steelers go 0-2. If the Steelers go 1-1 though, then we desperately need the Ravens to lose one game for us to stay alive. The good news is that the Ravens and the Steelers both have two tough games left and yes, we're hoping they both lose out.

I just didn't want anyone to think if the Ravens win, we're toast. We want them to lose but it's okay if they don't.
