I finally feel the pats after all these years are coming back to the pack.
My question is who do feel in the AFC east will unseat them or will it be a different division winner each year like the NFC south?.

I am trying not to laugh as I type this, but we have as good a shot as any providing we are injury free. Except in NE, we generally play well against the Patriots. Plus, our guys will be more motivated next year when we get our new coaches and FO, and do our rebuild. Okay...okay...wishful thinking on my part, but a guy can dream can't he? It is the holiday season, after all. ;-)

The best shot for me? Buffalo beats the Pats tomorrow, the Jets beat them next week, then we go 2-0 and win the division. That would be the ultimate fairy-tale for me since it's the whole AFC East saying "Bye Felicia!"

If the Pats aren't at home in the playoffs, I have a good feeling that they lose in the first round. They're just not as good when they don't have their arsenal of cheats and spies on the road.

Yea I am not a big fan of Darnold or Allen and not a fan of tannehill either so I think its wide open.
I wouldn't be shocked if after the pats get beat in the first round Brady retires.

I think Brady returns for 2019, and finally experiences that drop off in play. Players almost never know when to call it quits, and with Brady the Pats are still the odds on favorite to win the AFCEast next season. Maybe the Jets and Bills improve a lot, maybe Gase/Tanny get the offense going and stay fairly healthy? Lots of questions but no clear challenger.

That said, I'd be thrilled to see Brady call it a day after the Pats get bounced in the Wild card or Divisional round. :)

I can't openly say what I'm hoping for since I've always said I never want to see a player injured...division rival or not. But if Tom Brady happened to rupture his testicles on a hard sack this coming week, you probably wouldn't see me crying. Secretly that's how I've always wanted his legacy to end....with deflated balls.

Big if we can stay healthy then I believe we can dethrone them. However with the rise of Allen and Darnold. We may have to upgrade our defense for years to come....

I wouldn't call it "the rise".

What I'm saying is that the Bills and Jets may have their answers at QB.

I know it's just their rookie year, but I think it's more likely BOTH of them bust than anything else. And at worst one of them should. They just make a lot of bad decisions and aren't very accurate passers, and I just don't think you can coach them out of it. We'll find out of course, but right now I'm really happy the Jets and Bills drafted those two.

Yeah I sure hope you are right. Darnold looks like the better QB of the two though.

    I think it’s the Bills.

They play very good defense and have a dangerous QB who has played good at times with the worst cast of playmakers in the league behind him.

Couple of playmakers and that team is going to be trending upward.
