I think we all know that this loss cannot possibly rest on the shoulders of Adam "the messiah" Gase.

In all honesty, if we do not give him the powertrain warranty of chances (10 years or 100,000 yards given up on defense), there is no possible ay that we could ever truly assess him.

So lets start firing up the ole excuse wagon. Don't worry about rehashing old excuses. These bad boys don't expire.

Have fun with it guys, maybe make a top ten list. I think we all know things are turning around quickly.

    So CAL
it was the full moons fault last night!!!!!

it was because Paul Wall was on the pre game!!!!

gase didn't tie his shoes in the correct order!!!!

RT was not eating sunflower seeds on the sideline!!!

The grounds crew forgot to cut the turf!!!

    I hope that helps!!!

Some people on here enjoy the misery of losing more than they enjoy the pleasure of winning.

At various points of the year every single unit on this team has performed at a high level. (QB, arB, WR/TE,OL,DL,LB,DB and special teams). And at other points in time each unit has failed.

What that tells me is that we have the players and the schemes to be a very good team, but the inconsistency of effort/performance and lack of sdisciplinenis what is holding the team back.

In years 1 and 2 inconsistency of effort/performance can be attributed to new coaches, new schemes, acquisition of players who fit your scheme, weeding out players who don’t etc.
The fact it is still occurring in year 3 points to a serious problem.

We see the Patriots struggle early almost every year as new players/coaches get exposed to their system, but it’s usually all figured out again by week 5. We aren’t in week 5 we’re in year 3 and this shouldn’t be happening.

It's pretty sad that potentially new members might come here and this is one of the recent threads they'd see. Had this place looked like this all those years ago when I joined, I likely wouldn't have bothered. Don't give me the excuses it's because we aren't good now, because we really weren't then either. When I joined this place (or it's former version anyways) Joey Harrington was our QB. At least try and be better than this.

The fans suck. If you had more faith, we'd be 8-0 and Gase could do his job. Those 4 losses are 100% your fault for being a bad fan.

So it took you 2 months for you to be confident in your prognostication. I applaud you for dusting off your thread.

You're not going to get an argument from most fans at this point. You wait for rock bottom. Good job, bro.

They have left us nothing else to do. Can’t ever be happy 2 weeks straight!! I will bash them till they fire Gase and it his clown school fro t office and staff!!! You can’t win at home against a HORRIBLE team? Get out of here I hope we lose next week and Rosses hands are forced. Gase May be a GREAT Qb coach but he isn’t a good head coach IMHO.

Everyone wants the team to succeed, some wants the team to succeed so bad they start believing that the team has everything put together to win. That misguided hope has helped them go through a dolphins season ever since Lamar rushed for 200 in a dolphins playoff victory

I absolutely want my team to win, but I understand what it takes to win. It is painfully obvious that the people in place were not the people that will make us become winners.

I also know that our owner does not have a football background. He is a loyal guy with a business background. What it takes to be successful in real estate is not the same as what it takes to be successful in football. A loss like this will help him make the right decision.

Yeah, we should really create an "anti-fan area" for them to fondle each other in this off-season. It gets old seeing pretend fans celebrating whenever we lose.

You just don’t win in the NFL with a horrible OL, a bad defense and a mid-tier QB. It’s amazing that we got 7 wins.

This is very telling of the psychology of some people. When things go the way of your prediction you have a feeling of confidence. Because of your accusation of other's "celebration when we lose" you must feel superior in your opinion when it is proven correct. It seems to me that as these theories have played out your opinion was proven wrong, therefore you begin protecting yourself by accusing other's of some distasteful behavior, point and ridicule because your feelings are hurt.

First, I didn't give a prediction. Second, neither did the ones celebrating that we lost. They're simply saying that because Jax won, it proves everything they're ever thought about the Miami Dolphins. Only, they're not bold enough to say that so they come here taunting Dolphins fans who hoped we would win.

News flash- all Dolphin fans want to see the team win. It's the one and only requirement of being a fan of something. And if you have to come to a Dolphins forum to taunt Dolphins fans over a loss then there's clearly some other things lacking in your life.

If you take the context of my post you would understand. It’s over man the seasons over nothing left to gain with a win. I have no faith left in Gase and company.

I have lost faith in Tannehill ever being what we hoped. I have been a fan of this franchise for over 30 years now and seen a lot of coaches styles and changes over that time.

I never root against us when it matters. I want us to lose so Ross will be forced into doing something with this team an 8-8 9-7 record gives Ross the out to use excuses.

So your assumption that I have to be 100 fanboy 24/7 doesn’t carry weight with me or most of this fan base.

I want us to lose so we can get better. It’s that simple.

After the loss to Jacksonville I doubt any kind of good performance against Buffalo will change Ross's mind if he's already set on replacing Gase. If however he's still not convinced Gase should be fired even after that debacle in Jacksonville, I seriously doubt any crap level performance against Buffalo will change his mind.

So I think it's safe to root for us beating Buffalo even from your perspective.

I don't think Ross makes such spontaneous decisions btw.. he seems more like the exact opposite: long deliberations with a heavy dose of patience, which might be good for real estate but not (so far) for the Dolphins.
