Gesicki didn’t exactly give himself a chance at the ball. Maybe a little more trajectory, but I’m not mad at the pass. It really wasn’t a bad one, IMO.
I don't think he ever fully recovered from the shoulder injury. Plus it's buffalo in january. The winds get a bit crazy. We had a 45 yd field goal come up short earlier
Wow. Pick 6. I'll give Adam Gase some credit... This team doesn't quit. They might get flat out beat sometimes lacking talent and players, and solid defensive coaching, and poor QB play, but they never quit IMO
Nothing more enjoyable to me than seeing a dejected Bills fan. Well...perhaps a dejected Jets fan, but it’s close. :-)
I am sure Ross wants to see our team fight for the win. Plus, Gase won’t be able to attract any good coaches if he is a lame duck coach, so I sort of expect an extension if he stays.
Sadly, I quit about halfway through the 1st quarter. Came back halfway thru the 2nd to see the score was still the same, so I stuck around. This team has a ridiculous ability to get blown out yet stay in games....and I'm lovin it.! I really think Gase and RT are fired today if we don't win. A win might keep Gase another year but RT? He may have already sealed his fate in the 1st.
Cowher seems to like our teams grit. Maybe he’s a Gase fan as well. Has positive things to say while boomer simply said “well make the playoffs”. Sound familiar?
LOL, Cowher tried to throw us a bone talking about how they never mention us and all the other guys just shot it down saying that we never make the playoffs so that's why... yet they were drooling all over the Bills.
Given how this team started down 14-0, and it was ugly early, and they haven't quit, and now were looking at 14-14, you have to give Gase credit. If the reports out there are true that the 3 in charge aren't seeing eye to eye, I'd look at keeping Gase around another year, and work on the personnel side. Get another QB, I don't think anyone truly believes they can win with RT. We've heard the reports in here from insiders that Gase has been in love with QB prospects the last two offseasons. Sure, he was hired for his "plan" to fix RT because they were paying him a ton of money, but I think most in this business are smart enough to realize you can't really hold Gase accountable there. IIRC, Tannehill was already paid and locked in long term, they believed in him enough to pay him, so of course you take a coach with the best plan to fix him... The player was already flawed, and still is, and most of this current roster is weak and depleted. This offense looked much different, and actually effective when Wilson, and Grant were still around. I think these are all things that are going to play in to Adam Gase surviving, and getting another shot, with new personnel people, and likely a new QB. Of course it's possible Ross blows it all up, I'm at the point though where I just really don't care. I just want to win.
Any chance this offense can drive on the Bills with a long field? I doubt it. No one would be shocked if they put up no points in the second half.
