How familiar is this by the way? Dolphins players losing control and getting ejected on the last game of the year. Can’t blame the same guys this time Gase, these are new players getting ejected with all the “bad eggs” gone. We going to get rid of more players again? You have no control over your team Adam Gase.
Regardless of what Ross does... I'm considering this being the last Dolphins game I watch. I'm disgusting by the officials handling of that Alonso play. He didn't even hit him, until his leg hits Allen. He missed him completely. They need to get rid of the slide rule. These QB's take advantage of it, sliding too late, and they get away with it because of all the protection they get. If you're going to run with the ball, guess what, you're going to get hit. Just get rid of the slide rule. It's a pretty simple fix.
I'm not sure what you're pinning on Gase here... Alonso didn't even hit Allen, until his leg flopped up and hit him. The hit was a complete whiff... but instantly created a situation where all of Buffalo's players went after him. What do you want them to do? Stand around and watch? Quinn gave a tug on a facemask in a shoving match. What I saw, were officials going out of their way to protect a QB, and a hated rival going after a hated former player with a bad reputation. They were defending their guy, rightfully so.
Why did we even draft Gesicki so high if we are never going to use him? He usually hets his 1st catch of the game in the second half...if at all. Our passing game is so bad and we have lost so many receivers yet we never work him in.
He telegraphed the throw to Parker. That's why the defender is there early. He stared him down the whole way. He's become a one read QB, and our offense largely reflects that with the playcalling and all the designed short throws. They've dumbed it down completely for him IMO
On a side note: I am a little pissed! One of my favorites, Jakeem Grant, didn’t make the notable injuries segment! Do they even know the Dolphins! The nerve of these people!
He always does. It appears he's got essentially one read to make each play. Almost feels like Gase has tried to make this as easy as possible, which is why it's so boring to watch this team on offense. If his initial read isn't there, he freezes up and stands there fo the sack.
There's ZERO change in his game. His numbers look a bit better because Gase has made this so easy on him to find some success. This QB is playing at a high school/college level IMO. Everything is essentially as simple as possible from a read standpoint it seems, mostly pre-determined on the playcall pre-snap it feels like. That pass to Amendola out of the backfield is a prime example. This offense is a joke, and my belief is that's because of the inability of the QB to process it properly.
Tannehill's shoulder definitely hasn't recovered 100%. He doesn't have the drive or the zip he had earlier in the season
Minkah should be pissed. Dirty shot there from Jones away from the play. That's worse than the Kiko play IMO.
Oh if Tannehill could run like that we wouldn't be having these discussions. You either got it or you don't.
