Holy **** life is good for fight fans right now. DC vs Stipe was epic. We got to watch Cody get knocked out making the same mistakes he made the first time around vs TJ. UFC 230 gets announced with Nate Diaz(+155) finally making a comeback vs LW belt contender Dustin Poirier(-190). Dustin has been beasting through the division but it's a great matchup for Nate, especially if they could get it to 5 rounds somehow. Yoel Romero(-200) vs a guy I love to watch, Paulo Costa (+160) also at 230. They're still putting together the main event and theres talk of Jon Jones headlining. It cant get any better than this.

Oh wait, it ****ing can. Khabib(-160) vs Conor McGregor(+130) headlining UFC 229. Dana White is handling business right now, we just have to pray no one ****s up and gets pulled from the card.

I'd take Nate, Paulo, and obviously Jon Jones anytime he fights. If Conor can work on take down defense I think he KOs Khabib with the way Khabib keeps his chin so high.

I had a parlay hit with Nunes winning. That was huge.

I’m more excited about Jon Jones fighting again. He’s already tweeted out he isn’t waiting until July to fight again.

Did anybody else just get a whole lot richer on that masdival vs Askren fight?

I couldn’t believe my eyes when Vegas had Ben as the favorite. Did they not watch him vs lawyer? Holy crap.

Fastest knockout in UFC history. I knew it would be quick, but not that quick. Wow.

He can’t hang in the UFC. Love the guy, but this is a whole new level.

This is the end of Ben Askren.

Still can’t get over this. How does an old wrestler become a favorite over a ****ing savage killer like Masdival when Robbie Lawler almost killed Ben.

Should’ve put the damn house on Jorge.

It was a decent C grade ppv... i expected a whole lot more from Askren and Holm..

If Luke gets knocked out one more time its time to start thinking retirement, if he hasnt already... broken jaw, you wont see him till next year. He is doing too much stand up fighting and his brand has suffered from it.

I didn’t expect anything more from Ben. He’s as limited as it gets in this game. He has one aspect to his game, wrestling, and just got torched by Jordan Burroughs. He has no striking whatsoever. Dana got what he wanted, which was for Ben to get KTFO.

Tbf Luke kicked in the head after the bell and he wasn’t the same in the 2nd round.

Thiago looked hella dangerous in there with the baddest mad alive, while on a torn ACL.

I think Thiago is deserving of a rematch but Dana isnt gonna do it i bet. His heart stopped for a second when he heard Thiago got a score from the judges.

Yeah. Dana is giving him cake matchups and bringing him along slowly. I wish they’d just throw his *** in there with DC, Stipe, or a Ngannou.

Do you remember the fight against Allen crowder? Where Allen was kicking his *** and screaming in his face “you like to hit women”? And then Greg hardy, well, went Greg hardy, and got DQd for illegal knees to the head?

I just hope they build him up fast enough for DC to have at him. Hopefully before DC Jon Jones 3. DC will send his *** out of this sport, fast.

UFC fans will never get behind Greg Hardy. Dana is the best promoter in sports, period, but I don’t know what he sees here.

My bad for the triple post, but he already has been on the main card, for some strange ****ing reason. There’s 50 other fighters I’d rather see.

    What a card tonight.

    DC over stipe, probably tko
Anthony Pettis over Nate. Not confident here, and I love Nate, but he’s 3 years since his last fight.
Costa over Yoel, and I don’t see this thing going the distance at all.

Any of these 3 could be a main event.

    Pettis by unanimous decision

I ended up going with paulo, Nate, and dc. I went with my heart with Nate. Dc went against the game plan there. Good news is we will probably get a DC/Stipe 3. And hopefully we see a lot more Nate Diaz.

Was shocked by Nate Diaz performance. I was rooting for him but didnt think he could win..

DC got his *** KO’d as predicted....

I was shocked Costa got the decision, i thought Yoel did enough to win.

No way bro, Paulo won that fight. I wouldn’t have been surprised if the judges gave it to Yoel, but I thought Paulo controlled that fight. I’ve been on this guy for a while, he can bang, he just needs to protect his head better. I think he beats adesanya but my boy Whittaker still runs that division.

Nate Diaz is my 2nd favorite fighter and I hope we see more of him. I don’t bet with my heart usually, but I had to. Him vs Masvidal is going to be tough to root for. I almost always gotta go with the Miami boy. That’s a main event waiting to happen.

Random thought, but el cucuy is the most dangerous man p4p in the UFC. Waiting for him vs Khabib after Khabib wrestle****s Dustin.

The big 3 fights on that card were amazing. Too bad there won't be another decent card til Khabib v Poirier.

Happy for Stipe great come back.
Been a Diaz fan for years I knew he'd break down Pettis, I was surprised it was more in the clinch than at boxing range.
Costa vs Romero is the kind of fight every MMA fight should be more like but sadly is not. What a war.

Diaz vs Masvidal November 2nd to main event..

Only thing i dont like is that Dana is creating a fake belt “BMF” for this fight. Now this is turning into WWE..

Less than 24 hours until were blessed with UFC 244. This card is so nasty that Johnny Walker, who could probably main most cards, is a prelim fight. Take my 60 bucks Dana.

    Masvidal vs Diaz
    Gastelum
    vs Till
    Wonderboy vs Luque (not confident)
    Black Beast vs Ivanov
    Kevin Lee vs Gillespie
    Anderson vs Johnny Walker Blue

Masvidal vs Diaz is so hard to root for unless you have money on it.

Obviously this isn’t a huge MMA board but I’ll keep trying.

Conor is back. Well find out tomorrow night if he’s really back. At -330, it ain’t worth it unless you’re putting 5 figures on it, which I am. Let’s go. Should be some tasty props up tomorrow as well.

Eh not really interested in the match. Vince McMahon, not Dana White, gave Cerrone the script. Conor wins without absorbing much damage and setup his March bout.

Khabib already said he doesn’t plan on giving him a rematch until he gets 10 wins under his belt. He’s exaggerating, but you get it.

I think Conor would step in in April if tony pulled out.

    lol... that was pathetic...
Correction, he didnt absorb any damage. And Cerrone followed the script..

im almost sure dana white himself injected Cerrone with anesthesia before the match so that no pain is felt for taking that dive.

Come on dude. You can’t actually believe that.

Can we talk about how awkward the whole sequence was? Conor throwing and missing the left but having the awareness to throw the left knee. The 3 shoulder bumps? Wtf? Never seen that used as a main weapon in the clinch. The head kick was absolutely brutal. And the sniper attack to end it.

Was Conor’s performance against cowboy more impressive than Tony and Gaethje?
