Ross takes a lot of **** but I think he's a good owner.

He admits he doesn't always get the football side of things and tries to put people who do in place. He usually takes his time and makes measured decisions. He has put his own money into the stadium, even if that does benefit him too.

It hasn't worked so far, but I don't blame Ross.

Some of you might have already seen this, and I hope CK doesn't mind, but here are a couple of interesting tweets from CK that I thought might be useful for those that haven't seen them yet:

Very interesting news concerning that some players don't want to be back. Good news on Burke, though.

I suspect alot of the upheaval is coming from the defensive side of the ball. Historically bad performance. We've seen guys complaining there about their roles with Burke etc. Then you watch them working their tails off, keeping us in some games early on this year only to watch the offense look like they're a pop warner type unit. I'd want out too if things don't change. Wouldn't be surprised if that unnamed player yesterday who said something about not going anywhere with #17 was on the defense. You'll get frustrated awfully quick playing your *** off, or at least trying, while your offense is 3 and out every damn series.

I don't. He knows he has no room to talk. He's a whole other level of terrible.

    I'd also suggest Amendola.

Miami Dolphins reboot 9.0. We should make Bill Murray our coach and change the logo to a groundhog

Now, we just need news of Tannenbaum being fired. Grier being let go. Tannehill's upcoming release.

No more half measures. Blow it all up. The whole current structure is flawed.

I'd bring in a hardass too. These players come here thinking this is a vacation in Miami IMO. You're here to play and get paid. Do your damn jobs too. Want to spend time on the beach, in the clubs, fishing/boating (I'm looking at you Tannehill), then retire and come do that. Find a coach who's going to get these guys to play and do their jobs, not live the good life in Miami on the backs of fan's money.

I heard people that acted like they knew something. Say that grier is very good?

Good if Tannenbaum is out too. I would still let the new VP decide if he wants to retain Grier or not.

If Tannenbaum is kept in any official role, it's a complete waste of time.

I don't feel that strongly about Grier, but I believe he should be gone as well.

Clean slate. Since we're going down this road, do it the right way. Why half-*** it like last time?

So Tannenbaum out of the football ops.

Grier to VP. Reports directly to Ross.
Assume Grier is still the GM as well.
Grier to lead search for new HC.

It's a nice, clear top-down structure at least. Hopefully having a holdover doesn't impact the coaching search negatively though.

?? That's bull****. If we kept winning and went deep in the playoffs year after year there would be no "deteriorating relationship". Gase can't ever accept he's part of the problem which is fine as long as you keep winning (then you literally are part of the solution!) but once you start losing you get a clash of different opinions as to how to right the ship and that's where the "deteriorating relationship" begins.

I think you're reading that wrong....I believe Gase told Ross to go "F Himself" due to bad personnel moves. For instance, Gase was high on keeping Pouncey...and Pouncey had a solid year. I think Gase was throwing that stuff at Ross (in not so nice terms) when asked why we weren't winning.

We don't know the details, but my point is that no such conversation is likely to occur in the first place if Gase keeps winning. It's only because we weren't winning that such conversations might have occurred. And I agree I wouldn't put it past Gase to act that way.
