Just saw him on NFL Network, and he has a thing against Parcells for starters. Then just goes on to say anything and everything he can as a Dolphin Hater. Can someone just bust him in the lip once ? By the way, Mariucci and Eisen, were not much nicer. Mariucci says well they were a 1-15 team but with Pennington they become (laughs and gaffaws) a 5 or 6 game winner team. He might be right but his smug attitude just rubbed me wrong. It was just as bad as that ahole Sanders I was doing this while watching them.....makes me
ugh, the analogy with the chef and the restaurant? god, you know he knows next to nothing about the miami dolphins. marble mouthed bone head...how could he possibly be in broadcasting? he makes shannon sharpe look like james lipton.
You have to earn everything in the NFL, we are a 1-15 team last year, that is how we will be viewed until we prove otherwise.
i actually like primetime but his restaurant analogy made me wish i could get back those secs i lost by listening to him.
I hope this clown is kept out of the Hall of Fame....all flash and no substance. He has been flapping his gums the past 20 years as a player and analyst. He is like Whoopi Goldberg and Roseann Barr,,,,you just wish he would go away.
I completely agree. No one has any reason to respect us. If we can come out and win 6-7 games, next year people will be predicting us to be in the playoffs. We just have to continue to get better on defense and run the ball on offense. I don't know if anyone is noticing, but the Patriots run defense is not looking good. The Giants ran the ball on them in the SB and so far in the preseason, they are giving up a bunch of yards on the ground. I think thats the key. Everyone is saying how they start out with a very easy schedule with KC, NYJ, and us. But, I think anyteam that can run right at NE has a chance against them. By next year, we are definitely going to be a threat to win our division.
it will make it all much more sweeter when our team is perenially in the playoffs, and those asses have a call in show. Serve em up some fat crow in 2010.
Deion is just a waste, CBS canned him and I won't watch him. He's bad for the game, he is just a frickin idiot and I hate him. I like what Jimmy Johnson said back in 1996 when he was hired, he told the media that if the Dolphins would have signed him in 94, he would have cut him. He was a great kick returner, but terrible at playing the D. He was a world class big mouth and that is all he is. How can you play D and expect to be one of the best when you won't even tackle?
Deion may have had an aversion to tackling, but his man to man coverage skills are some of the best ever IMO. Too bad his skills as a commentator don't match.
Why do some of you care what others say??? If something is " cool " to you. Then you should know it's **** to some other person. Saigon Kick is one of the best bands ever IMHO.You think i'd give two ()() what others would say......................Nope.
I agree! I am interested in what others have to say but I don't get pissy about it. Who cares what Deion thinks. Must be the money!!! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJWSm13LBh8]YouTube - Deion Sanders-Must be the Money[/ame]
Why do these morons get paid so much? I just don't get it... Soulja Boy just released what is it "Marco Polo"? A four-year old can sing this kind of crap. Deion's "Must be the Money" was just as bad.
Deion Sanders is a scumbag. Plain and simple. And that has nothing to do with the Dolphins. I just hate him as a person. He's just another selfish moron who wouldnt do anything if it didnt get him more money, or make him look good. He takes self glorifying to another level. It's no wonder he and Ray Lewis are so close. They are both horrible excuses for human beings.
Primetime never impressed me with his cockyness, if you're gifted then let your actions speak for you like Barry Sanders did. Superb runner who never spiked and celebrated his TDs, just considered it expected of him as it was his job. To this day Deion's ego is 3 states in front of him. As far as what he says about us, I don't care, he can have his opinion. He has bigger things to worry about like being a Big Brother to Adam Jones. With quality guys like Deion and Michael Irvin mentoring Jones what could go wrong?
The guy does hate Parcells he has come out and said it in so many words and Eisen is a Jets fan so that right will explain his jokes and Mariucci has a hard on for Favre so that explains why the 3 of them were all laughing it up when talking about the Dolphins.
Yeah, I saw this too. Sanders is usually pretty good unless he lets the street get into his dialog. If he sticks to facts and reasons, he's fine but when he interjects his opinion without much basis, he loses me...
Thank you. Primetime is not a hater, he's a realist. He doesn't sugar coat things because he's an analyst or try to make things what they aren't. He calls it how he see's it. We are ranked next to last on the power rankings for a reason. We are a rebuilding squad. And like pointed out elswhere its his opinion, but I will say this, as one of the if not THE best conerback to ever play the game, I think he knows what he's talking about. We still have alot of work to do.
Really don't have much of an opinion on this except that when I watch NFL analysts, especially on a network devoted to football, I'd actually hope analysts would... analyze. Is that too much to ask? I agree with padre that 1-15 teams have to "earn" their place as far as respectability, but is it too much to ask an NFL analyst from the NFL Network to offer some sort of insight to a team? There are only 32 of them, and surely you can find something at the very least about a particular player to make an astute observation about (i.e. Henne popping back from a shaky start, how healthy Ronnie looked, Wilford's chances of making the team after an invisible preseason, etc. - just something). This isn't college football where Deion, Eisen, or Mooch has to know something about the 2nd string left inside linebacker from Southeastern Dakota State Correctional Facility. To just bring up that we're a 1-15 team that "gave away" its best player and laugh about the Dolphins' chances, well, I can go on Jets, Patriots, or Bills fan boards to get that. I'd like something more from the NFL Network. That's all I'm saying.
We will eventually get the last laugh. Of course, I always thought the broadcasters were supposed to be un-biased. We as fans of course will be totally biased.
