Nope. And some scuttlebutt has him trying to get Caldwell into Miami as OC. Which is a good thing.

Caldwell should be a HC. We'd be lucky to have him as OC

Not a fan of Caldwell the HC, but would be a fan of Caldwell the OC. Any scuttle on defensive hires?

He led the Colts to the SB his HC rookie year.
As OC of the Ravens, they won the SB, with Flacco.
In 7 years as a HC, he's had only 2 losing seasons (1 of which was the Suck for Luck year) and 4 in the playoffs.

Sooooooo, if a coach has a binder and is organized, we shouldn't hire him?

The fact he won 2 games with Curtis Painter has his QB that year was a miracle.

and Tony Dungy has a career playoff record of 9-10. Tony Dungy is a hell of a coach but I believe had what 4 first round exits in the playoffs with the Colts.

Philbin also wore a ballcap and had two legs.

Both are clearly signs of being inadequate.

If you see what I provided, and think to yourself, that's a record worth crapping on.....then i'm not sure what you want.

Maybe he can sit on the bench on gameday going through plays, too.

I dunno man, I get we're all over mediocrity and everything....but I just don't understand how because X person was average at his job, Y person who has virtually no similarities at all to X person, will also suck.

I mean, if you've looked into Flores and have reasons for concern due to specifics about him as an individual, I'm all ears. But if people want to tell me Flores sucks, because of Philbin, or Matt Patricia or because their Uncle Barry.....then its weak and not really worth anyone's time, to be frank.

I was expecting more experience or success. Not impressed with Patriots this past season even though they are in playoffs with the 21st ranked D that's just not impressive. Why grab that part of their game?
