I put this in another thread, but I thought I'd link it here too. Denney's career is one of the most unusual ones in Dolphins history....

I'm honestly surprised that Denney will be back, based on his age and the fact that he clearly had some issues last season that he hadn't really dealt with before. He made Haack look bad in a few different games due to poor snaps.

But if he is back, it'll be for his 15th season with the team. His 224 games played by a Dolphin trail only Marino, who had 242. Next season, he'll have played for his six different full time Dolphins head coach, which will likely be a record that will stand the test of time.

    Nick Saban
    Cam Cameron
    Tony Sparano
    Joe Philbin
    Adam Gase
    Brian Flores

If you include the interim coaches, he'll have played for eight of the thirteen head coaches in Miami history. AND, he didn't play in the NFL until he was 27 years old, eight years after he had graduated from high school!

Yeah it wasnt his best season last year but that old dog has still got it going on. I hope he can get it back together again next season but that may be difficult at his age.

I really do love seeing him back on the team!

I think I remember reading vague rumors about the Phins being interested in some slot receivers in this draft, but if they don’t decide to do that Garçon would be a cool fit. He’s from south Florida, could probably finish his career down here, really help Albert and Jakeem become more complete slot receivers, and would help in punt returns or kickoffs. The only downside is he hasn’t been healthy at all, but I wouldn’t mind bringing a vet to a rather inexperienced position group of ours. Especially with rumors that Kenny and Parker could be out of here.
