Capers has had great success in the past, including last season. Why fire him if you cant get anybody with a better pedigree to take over? I have faith that Capers will come good again if given some new personnel.

I'm all for Capers to be fired, but I want Mularkey gone too.

Thats fair enough, but Capers was a highly regarded defensive co-ordinator in other places as well. I think he can make this D good again, but if management disagrees and goes after someone else I can see why.

Armstrong 1st, then Mularkey. I'm not sure that Capers, or Mueller, or for that matter Cameron is Parcells type men.

He's taken the unit from 4th to last in a single year.

Seriously there were threads the preseason saying we had the best linebacking core in football, and the only concern about the defence was the secondary. When you look at the talent on our D there is no way that this unit should be in the bottom third of the league.

Defensive gameplanning and playcalling was a lot better last year than this year. It reminds me a lot of the transfer of the offence from Lineham to Mularky in that we kept the playbook but junked the philosophy behind it.

maybe because this year alone the denfensive play calling has led to the worst play calling we have seen in some time.

I hated the hire and I welcome the firing. CLEAN HOUSE BUNCH OF PANSIES.

    PS I love the fins..
