While that is true, its not helping his chances.

Yeah, I've experienced that too...I'm forever typing out responses and then just deleting the whole thing because when it read it back to myself...it just don't sound like what I wanted to say...

I'll laugh if Beck gets traded next year before the draft, not that I really care either way but it will make me chuckle.. It will depend on a lot of things like Chad's health and who will be available in the draft. Heck I hope the guy does well but Henne will have to either a.) tank it or b.) get injured to lose that number 2 spot, which is not out of the realm of possibility, but it really is a moot point. A 3rd string QB is not who we want to see on the fied this season, period.

What exactly has Henne achieved in the NFL regular season to date?

I kind of agree with RI here...Henne hasn't proven a thing, but he's convinced the Tunaland and Co. that he can. That is apparently enough for this regime. Afterall, they canned McClown without being given a shot and are shelving Beck to the 3rd string for the same reason...I certainly hope that Henne is all they think he is or we'll be looking for a new regime shortly...

beck certainly has not been stellar and there is lots of room for improvement. i believe it will help him immensley to be in the same offense through this season and going into next offseason. last year he was a rookie, learned a new offense and played ok in my opinion. this year we have henne and beck both learning this offense, with pennington having some expirience in it. we're lucky to have penny here to run the show and i hope he stays healthy. we go into camp next fall with beck and henne comfortable with this offense, they compete with penny and we have an excellent qb situation here in miami. i hope thats how it plays out. as for beck's mental toughness, if he can't come out and compete then he's history.
