It seems like the beginning of something, this new track we're on.

When we brought in Sparano, we signed half the Cowboys squad. Now we're targeting Jacksonville in 2019? LOL, I'd prefer we gut Cleveland's roster instead (minus Landry, of course).

Seriously though, hopefully this continues and we keep racking up offensive linemen. Nothing would make me happier.

Jacksonville has traditionally had a good offensive line, built to go north and play in cold weather games where the battle of The trenches is more imperative.

I like this signing. But it’s only one in the rebuild. I hope to God we build a powerhouse offensive line. It’s been soooooo long.

I mean, we did build one last year....we just went the wrong direction with aging vets who are more likely to get hurt. Every team these days really needs 7-8 starting caliber linemen and we've just never had that....we grab 5 that seem to fit on paper and call the job done. It honestly frustrates the heck out of me because we do it constantly.

I think the guy looks real good relative to what our guard play has been, there is potential there.

I know it’s a long time ago, but didn’t Dan Marino get sacked something like seven times one season?

6 times in 1988. But that's masking the really impressive stat of 19 consecutive games and 759 consecutive passing attempts without a sack from September '88 to October '89.

That's Marino and his fast release though. He'd get sacked very few times behind our crap line too.
