    Oooffffffhhhh.

If that is truley the schedule on paper we’re looking at some serious L’s this year, especially with the rebuild. I’m looking at around a 3-4 win season just quickly glancing

This looks to contradict the first one based on Week 2...

Most any other year I'd be looking to see how Miami can put together enough wins to sneak into the playoffs. This year? I'm just looking at games where Miami has a chance to pull off a win. Redskins, Bills, Jets, Giants, and Bengals are pretty much my list, with only the Giants being a really bad team.

Oh, and the early bye is no help.

Seems we ALWAYS get an early bye. Wish we got one mid-season when we seem to always need it. I also don't see many W's on that calendar. Boads well for those looking towards next years draft, but I don't think we will be the worst team in the league either. I see 3-4 wins and 4th or 5th draft pick.

Tough schedule. The things that stand out to me are:

No TNF game this year (I thought all teams got one?)
Only one prime-time game (MNF week #8)
    Early bye (week #5)
3 away games in December (back to back games at Giants Stadium and then close it out at NE week #17)

I'd put the over/under for wins at 6 games, and unless they have an A+ draft think it's going to be under.

    JMHO...

There are games available to steal, and overall SoS is like 18th. But 3 of 4 end of season games on the road? Harsh.

I can see us stealing weak 2 if the Pat's are doing their usual "hold stuff back and tune up" routine. Also possible they are resting starters at the end of the season. Chargers at home is possible if they come out in a funk from the cross country trip, and Steelers I think are ripe for an implosion.

Realistically though, a 4 win season is probably way more likely than 6+. Maybe 2 div games, 2 between Skins, giants and Bengals. At least if we skip QB this year it sets up for 2020 high pick QB.

I would put the over/under at 4 wins. I think we might be favored over the Giants, and that game might be for the #1 2020 pick.

The Fitzmagic factor is the only thing that might change that. If he has a 4TD 400yd game, we could pull off a win versus most any team. How many games will he have like that? I'm guessing about 4 over the season, but unless we get a DL in place I see the defense really struggling to stop anyone, so no lead would be safe.

Well, the other factors are coaching; can Flores get guys to play above their weight class as it were? And can Miami come away with a stellar draft in 2019?

Honestly if our DL is even decent I can see us stopping a lot of people and having a fairly strong defense.

I know no one wants to hear this, but I don’t think it’s impossible for us to win 6-8 games this upcoming season. We’re going to have a young and extremely hungry team and a QB that can get hot in stretches. If Flores and his staff really are good, I see us overachieving big time.

I dont think the Ravens will be a very good team. I have no faith in Jackson as a long term QB.

Considering it is week 1 at home with a new coach and the blood will be pumping, I almost expect a win week 1.

The last three HCs we've had have been offensive minded but, turned out to be just offensive. Finally we have a proven defensive guy from a good organization so, I expect our defense to be superior to years past. If Fitz can be reined in to where he's not making stupid mistakes then I can see us overachieving and surprising a few people.

I think they will steal a win in week 1 or 2 when Ryan Fitzpatrick has one of his fraud 5 TD games. Then everyone can make the "Fitzmagic is the savior" threads until he eventually loses the job/gets injured around week 7 or 8 when they are 2-6. Other than that there aren't many wins on that schedule.

Even as a bad team none of the games look like sure losses to me.

Aside from the Patriots and maybe Cowboys there isnt a team that makes me think we have no chance.

Not to say we should be favored in any, but there are at least 8 games I wouldnt be shocked if we won.

    Bill's x2
    Jets x2
    Redskins
    Ravens
    Giants
Chargers (Least likely IMO but I wouldnt be shocked)
    Steelers
    Colts

I see all of those games as winnable. I'm not saying we should be the favorite, I'm not saying we for sure win any of those games...hell we could lose them all.

Again this is a list of games I think we have a punchers chance of winning depending how things shape out.

So you don't think Ryan Fitzpatrick is a good QB right? I'm just making sure you feel that way...Like absolutely feel that way....You also want us to lose games too right? Like I said, I just want to do one final check on that opinion of yours that you continue to shovel down the throats of anyone that will take the time to even read what you write. We get it dude....We totally get it...You hate Ryan Fitzpatrick and you're going to be on an all time high of happiness watching us go 2-14 this year. Got It....but honestly nobody cares. It's as if you have like... "football fan" Tourettes syndrome at this point....Reducing your replies to "FITZ SUCKS", "H'ELL BE BENCHED", "TRADE EVERYONE" "TANK." *Thumbs up* It's going to be ok, we are totally going to suck, no need at this point to keep telling us about it.

I'm just trying to prepare the "Fitzmagic" guys for when he has the 1-2 game stretch where he's the best quarterback in the league to tamper their emotions.

He's a fraud and always will be.

I would much rather see a young quarterback out there rather than him. Yes, I want my team to win. If you noticed my posts last year when all the babies were crying when they were 3-1 to blow it up I was a staunch supporter of them winning but ownership and the coaching staff have already told fans to prepare for pain this season. I would much rather have a painful season with a young quarterback out there with the chance to develop into something rather than a washed up flash in the pan.

"Yeah, but he does silly interviews and has a funny beard!". I don't care. I don't want to see him on the field.

I agree, I suppose having a vet play this year is sending a message to the team that they are gonna compete..

I can see that happening. I wouldn’t call it a fraud though. He has proven he can do it.

Not that I’m any sort of big time fan of his but if Fitzpatrick were more consistent he’d be a very high quality starter.

Third consecutive year the patriots close the season with back to back home games. Now is that by design or is this roger goodell helping his pals?

From 2001-2019 NE has had 12 home games to end the season and 10 home games for their 2nd to last game. For the Dolphins the numbers are 10 home games to end the season and 11 home games for their 2nd to last. A statistical test says you'd need either something as low as 5 home games or as high as 14 before it becomes "statistically significant".

So I don't think there's any conspiracy here.
