    "
The Miami Dolphins have filled out the final roster spot by signing a familiar face: Tyler Patmon
After a Sunday night visit on July 21st, the Dolphins have officially signed cornerback Tyler Patmon. The corner was with the team during the 2015 season but failed to leave his mark during his first stint with the team.

Tyler Patmon has, however, managed to keep his career chugging along with time spent in Dallas in 2014 and 2015 and Jacksonville in 2017 and 2018.

    ...

Tyler Patmon is also a special signing because of his being the 91st player under contract. The Dolphins have found some value in signing a player internationally, which has allowed them the ability to sign Patmon as a bonus player."

Don't understand why it is unique - we aren't the only team doing it, are we? Also, it's within the ruling - I bet it wouldn't be 'unique' if other teams did it.

I'm gonna be honest. Watching how the camp battles shake out for DB is gonna be the most fun part of camp. I am praying that someone can emerge as the boundary corner opposite of Howard. Hopefully, it is Rowe, but we have others trying to get that spot.

I'm kinda disappointed that Tank is starting the season on the injury list. He has all of the tools needed to be successful and had shown flashes in the past. He is under a new regime, and could be in jeopardy of not making the team if Flores and company do not see enough of him to warrant a roster spot.

I know that some of you would say that it would be crazy to cut a 3rd round pick, but it might be a numbers game. Start counting DBs. We have a lot of guys there with talent. We will probably wind up cutting a talented guy. Also, look at other crowded groups - TE, WR, RB, + Chandler Cox (wherever he fits in). Those groups are pretty deep too and keeping an extra guy would in those position groups means cutting someone else at a different position. I put Chandler Cox as his own category because he is a FB who can moonlight as a TE, but because we didn't carry a FB last season, he roster spot would mean that someone else's roster spot would be taken.
