Rosen is running for his life almost every snap at the moment. EDIT: Preston Williams is doing himself a lot of favours.
Yes it does. Cause you get many less TD drives when your OL is failing. Hopefully it doesn't carry into the reg season but i won't hold my breath.
Misread that as Matt Moore trophy. Was perplexed for a second. I'll blame it on it being 2am. EDIT: Charles Harris that is great hustle.
First preseason game and Rosen looks better in the two minute drill than Tannehill ever did. The kid would be good with a decent line.
Take P-Willi out, we don't need to see anymore in this meaningless game. Although it was a pleasure to watch.
Honestly its good that Rosen is taking most the snaps but if theyre making Fitz the starter without competition then he needs more drives than just two. Rosen has looked solid there for a guy who doesnt get many reps with the first team.
I saw some snippets of the game. Wow, the Oline! Not a fan of Rosen making that throw under duress, though it was complete to Williams. Speaking of the devil, he looked good. I thought he got away with an OPI on that downfield toss, but hey, he still came down with it. Loved the back-shoulder play. I thought Rosen threw a good ball, and Williams made a damned fine catch. That INT cannot happen. Those plays lose games. EDIT: I got to see a few plays from the first drive: Fitz is definitely seasoned. His ability to evade the pass rush was beautiful. Make a decision and go. Too many QBs sit and think when there’s no time for that in those situations.
I like Williams, but I would like to see how he does against the defense's #1 CB. As for Rosen. I thought he did some things well and had a nice first game considering our O-line wasn't doing much against the Falcon's D early on. I hope he continues to get a lot of playing time so he can settle in and feel more comfortable. B-Flo is looking to see who is producing during games so it would be nice to see Rosen take control of the competition and win the job outright.
I actually see him making the roster. Reminds me a lot of Michael Irving and Terrell Owens, big strong receiver with incredible hands
Well, Matt Moore scouted Rosen a few months back and played a big part in us going after him, so let's go with your mis-read- Matt Moore gets a trophy. =)
