Last year at about this time (and earlier) we were hearing from all kinds of people with "insider information" that the team would NEVER trade Tannehill and that any speculation in that direction was based on just being uninformed. That was probably the best example that any kind of information (rumor or "insider" stuff) about what a team plans to do next offseason is basically useless. No one, not even the team, knows what will transpire by that time. So I'd throw ALL these rumors about who we are interested in taking in next year's draft in the trash can because our FO doesn't even know.
Good Grief. That would be a disaster. His ability in the pocket with pressure is Tannehill like. Me personally, I don't like Oregon QB's at all. Can't recall any of them being better than above average and most weren't that.
Lawrence may be the better prospect in the long run, but he is not playing as well this year as he did last. It bares watching. After watching more Alabama football this year than I can ever stand too,, Tua looks better to me all the time. Accuracy and his arm strength looks pretty good to me. Way better than someone like Fromm that looks like a pick 6 waiting to happen.
Right? Me too. At least as regards Tua. Can't speak much to Fromm - I've only seen highlights. But I've been watching college football for the first time and he's been looking really solid to me. I've got a thread in the NFL Draft Forum where I'm trying to track all the major 2019 QB's in college and posting various content on them. If anyone wants a catch-up or to check out some footage, play breakdowns, articles, etc. take a look.
Absolutely- it's all just noise to get clicks. Even if it was 100% accurate today, it will be a different story in 6 months anyway based on Rosen, how college QB's complete the season, etc.
According to the latest 3YPC, which I listened to this morning, the guys are all chilled now as they've heard from various sources that Tua IS da man! PHEW!
To be honest, I'm not excited about any QB until they actually perform for us and give us a glimmer of something we see can be great.
