Dolphins coach Brian Flores announced Wednesday morning that Josh Rosen would start at quarterback Sunday. Thus, the Dolphins expect Rosen to play this week despite adding him to the practice report. He has an injury to his throwing elbow but fully practiced Wednesday.

Receiver Albert Wilson (hip/calf) and safety Reshad Jones (ankle) were among the players who were limited, so both are progressing after missing the past two weeks with their injuries. Linebacker James Crawford (knee), offensive lineman Jesse Davis (elbow) and linebacker Trent Harris (foot) also were limited.

Receiver Allen Hurns (concussion), safety Bobby McCain (hamstring/shoulder) and cornerback Jomal Wiltz (groin) did not practice.

Defensive end Charles Harris (wrist) and cornerback Chris Lammons (toe) were full participants.

I remember seeing that in the game last week...Rosen's elbow injury was that he skinned it falling down. Not saying that it couldn't be more serious than that, but it was on a play he ran and slid....when he got up, it was bleeding a little bit.

I believe the proper medical term is "he got a little boo boo."

I have a suspiciously good feeling about Sunday's game. I think Rosen will impress.

If Rosen can duplicate what he did in Dallas....and the receivers catch passes and the RBs don't fumble, the Dolphins have more than a fighting chance vs LAC who are coming from west coast and don't have Mike Williams.

In my eliminator league, I just couldn't pick the Chargers to win. I have this weird feeling the "worst team in the history of the NFL" is going to shock this week.

Chargers will still be without their primary kicker, and it seems their top 2 WRs (Williams and Benjamin) will be out.

Rivers is still good enough at QB to get by without top talent, but it gives us a shot, doubly if we can slow their RBs and get some semblance of a pass rush. Force them into field goals where their backup kicker (punter actually) has been somewhat inconsistent.

I wouldn't say thier top 2 receivers...they have Keenan Allen. That's a bad man. Rivers to Allen is a surefire bet, he looks to him early and often and X better pack a lunch. Melvin Gordon is back too but hell be in a back up roll this week with a pitch count, but if our D opens up and lets them have their way they might let Gordon get lose and get practice reps running down our throats. ..but here's hoping that doesn't happen.

I have a feeling about this game too, I know we always give San Diego/LA a hard time. Sorry...I still call them the SD Chargers. Either way...We always give them a game...Dating back as far as I can remember watching football. I don't think we win, but I do think we will score our second touchdown of the year.
