The funny thing is I am stuck just 2 miles north of the coverage. So, time to break out the rabbit ears and get the Tampa cbs feed

It really sucks to be a Dolphins fan in Orlando---the "secondary" market for the "half the stadium is tarped over" Jaguars.

 

well at least you get 2 Dolphin games a year ...I get the Raidahs .

 

What the heck is with KC/New England being shown in San Diego?

I get that KC is in the West, but so is Oakland, and they're getting the national game. Of course, I don't understand why part of AL is getting the game, either. Whatever, I suppose. Before their (Titans) move from Houston, we used to get the Dolphins here a lot, but now I get the Tennessee Titans every week here in H-ville, so that's a good reason as any for me not to like a team. Better, as a matter of fact.

 

Looks like I'm getting a good seat at Buffalo Wild Wings. I hate living in Baltimore-get stuck with the damn Ravens and their delusional fan base.

 

I'm absolutely shocked that the Ravens game is not being shown in the DC area...anyone know why this is? I've never seen that happen, bizzare.

annnnywho, since i'm new to the area, those of you in LA, you have favorite bars you like to go to? I would like to watch the game on our home HDTV too, but my bro is an eagles fan and we like to watch games at the same time, and that one's not on here so we'll be going out somewheres

 

Ok, I'm confused. I was under the impression that if you live in another NFL market, there will never be a game on the other network competing against you home team's game. For example, I live in Tampa and any time the Bucs play at 1:00 CBS will not show a 1:00 game. This is what I had heard, and it seems to jive with what I have seen here the past couple of years.

So, my question then is why does this map show the Dolphin game as televised in Tampa? The Bucs play a 1:00 game against NO on Fox, so I just assumed we wouldn't get a CBS 1:00 game. Am I wrong?

 

Can't believe that the first game of the season will be on TV here in Scottsdale, Arizona. So stoked! Woohoooooo. They are rarely on tv here.

Thank God for Sunday Ticket. All of Florida should be able to watch that game. Miami has been around a lot longer than the Jags. Or Tampa for that matter. To bad seniority doesn't count.

When I used to live in Orlando, a lot of times I would go to the local sports bar just to catch the Miami game. It got to the point that I really hated the Jags and Bucs. It seemed like they always got the TV time and us Dolfans would get screwed.

 

The Dolphins once owned the panhandle but the Jags started creeping in a few seasons back. It was frustrating. I remember cursing for hours one sunday a few years ago after the first time a Jax game was aired over a Miami one. That never happened during Jax's first three or four seasons of existence.

 

It started when the Jags were having trouble filling the stadium and Winn Dixi bought every remaining ticket they had available. That put them in to the "sold out" bracket and forced them to show it on TV, which in turn took up Miami's spot. I banned Winn Dixi for years over that. I would travel 5 miles to a Publix instead of driving 2 blocks to the Winn Dixi.

Sunday Ticket baby I'm ready for the season. Not going to lie I picked the Jets to win, though this season I have the Phins beat the Patriots so it all balances out :P

They better show ALL our games in HD this year.

I was pissed last year when they didn't even bother with an HD broadcast of our game a few times.

 

Jocks & Jills is pretty nice. Went there before Peach Bowl last year year.
