Distribution of points scored by the Jets offense this season:
    Q1: 20
    Q2: 17
    Q3: 17
    Q4: 24

In other words, across 7 games the Jets are scoring an average of just under 6 points in the 2nd half lol. If we lose this game because the Jets offense comes alive it will be something quite unusual. In their only win this season they scored only 3 points in the 2nd half lol.

    We'll see what happens!

Found a way to give up lots of points before the half DESPITE the Jests best efforts to give it away. Please tell me how getting the #1 pick will resolve this???

Can you imagine being a Jets fan?

Forget this season for Miami, New York have been trying to win and their record so far is one win, and we're hammering them.

    Horrible.

Yeah it's great! I hate the Jets. Now they're stuck with a bad coach and a QB that's no better than average.

They are living the nightmare scenario that Miami could face next year. Get your young franchise QB, spend lots on free agents to improve the team, and the wheels come off of what should be a playoff season.

The stupid play calls just kill me. Leave a back in to run a draw, instead you let them blitz and have no extra blocker. Then shank the FG try.

    Blatant tank is blatant.

Adam Gase continues to haunt us. His team may want to win this one less than we do.

Wow.. if we win this then we're not tanking, or at least if the FO wanted to then they miscalculated. 1 quarter left.

    Gase gonna f*** us again?

It would be the best, long term revenge for him against Miami. But, as they say, NEVER ascribe to malice what can be explained by incompetence. In other words, Gase is just calling a Gase kind of game.

I like this challenge by Flores. That's not OPI on Parker.

That being said, I won't be shocked if it's not overturned the way the NFL has called/reviewed these things all year. That rule change was a complete joke they way they're officiating/reviewing it.

If we win this, you start Rosen the rest of the way to 'evaluate' him and he should make enough young QB mistakes to avoid another win. The #1 pick is still well within reach even with a win today.

This team is so incompetent they can't even tank right. Echoes of 2008 again. Win a game or two more and you can kiss goodbye to the top QB's AND Chase Young. If that happens this season really was totally wasted.

Note to Ross next time you try to tank: make sure your team doesn't have a viable starter at QB. It was pretty obvious at season begin how risky it was to sign Fitz and now you might see the consequences of that. Such a stupid franchise!

C'mon, you don't have to be winless to get the first pick.

This is still an awful football team with piling injuries; only difference is that today, we're playing a team that's in the same ballpark of ineptitude.

Miami will get their quarterback, even if it costs them a fortune. But I don't think it will.

Enjoy the comedy of the Jets. Enjoy the win. Enjoy not going 0-16.

Just hope that if we dont end up with the #1 pick that the QB picked there isn't a superstar compared to the one we end up with at 2 or 3. Then tell us how you really feel about todays win.

I love nothing more than beating that jackass Gase, but it's just a failure given what the team is trying to accomplish. I am however thankful we're not going to go winless. I'm happy for Flores too.

Don't be so sure. We're playing to win. And what's the point of trading all the picks we assembled to trade for a QB? The QB is just one player. The whole point of picking #1 or #2 is so you don't have to use the other picks to get that QB, assuming of course you can find a trading partner who is very likely also looking to pick a QB with their first pick.

    Like I said.. stupid franchise.

This is a logical sentiment, and from the perspective of the long-term health of the franchise, I support it. However, it isn't realistic to ask 53 grown men to purposefully lose at a game they love for a 21 year-old hotshot college kid.

We're still only 1-7 and in the thick of the race. I'm not worried yet.

Like I said in an earlier post, the real mistake was signing Fitz. The FO has to make sure the chances of winning are miniscule, and signing Fitz was dangerous – all that btw was noted in preseason so this isn't just saying something after the fact.

The players should play to win, and so should the coach, but IF the FO is going to tank you've got to increase the chances of success as much as possible, which we didn't.

Anyway, there is one silver lining here. Jets are apparently bad enough they might lose to Cinci lol. That would really help in the race for the top 2 picks. We absolutely HAVE to lose to Cinci though.

    No, we hate the Jets.

We want what is best for the team though and every win makes it less likely we will ever turn things around.

I'm pissed we won but I'm not a Jets fan.
