    Slightly left of center
Dolphins beat the Giants to claim Jennings. I watched him in preseason for the Shehacks. He's got speed and a wide catch radius but still raw at NFL route tree. Hacks were hoping he would clear but they had to make room for Gordon so... If he works out we just got an extra 4th rd pick in last years draft for free. Good move.

"The Dolphins have successfully claimed 2019 4th-round pick WR Gary Jennings off of the waiver wire. Jennings was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks this past April but with the emergence of fellow rookie WR D.K. Metcalf and the tremendous play of WR Tyler Lockett, Jennings’ opportunities in Seattle were slim to none."
"Now in Miami, opportunity knocks for Jennings with the absence of Williams for the second half of the season. Jennings should be considered a potential vertical threat from the slot, that’s where he won at West Virginia before running a blazing fast 4.42s 40-yard dash at the 2019 NFL Combine. Explosiveness is apparent all over Jennings’ film and athletic profile, meaning there’s plenty of potential for Miami to tap into once they’re able to get hands on with Jennings."

Should be interesting to see what he does with the opportunity hes got in front of him.

    6’1 215 lbs..

he was a big target in West Virginia for Will Grier. Lots of people were talking about him being a steal pick last year for Seattle, didnt get the opportunities to play, probably because Lockett and others were seen more reliable and with DK Metcalf emergence he just kind of fell through.

over here in Miami he will have plenty of opportunities to showcase his talent.

He is certainly going to get a chance.

One great advantage we have of being terrible is that we can keep a guy like this around, work with him, and essentially shelve him if need be. Seattle is a team that needs to be good now, and guys who are not producing at this very moment are in danger of losing their job much like Jennings.

I think that our biggest goal of signing a guy like this is to get him on our 90 man roster this summer. He will get a half season on all of our rookies next year to learn the system, and hopefully, going into the 2020 season, he is able to contribute in a meaningful role. If he does nothing this year, whatever... He is a young talent, and I would love to give him an extended look.

I think this also tells us what kind of receivers Oshea likes, which shows a bit of a difference than what he worked with under McDaniels.

In NE they like quick receivers with excellent hands. They like the quick passing game.

With Oshea he likes tall fast and athletic.

I think there's room for all body types at the WR position in this offense. I think I they're prioritizing getting a little flavor of each. I'd like to see them move Jakeem Grant back out to the boundary though, I think he's more of a threat there.

I noticed last week that most of our receivers were tall and lean (Williams, Parker, Gisecki), while Wilson and Grant were barely on the field at all. I imagine that it's hard not to target guys with a huge catch radius, so it will be interesting to see who takes Williams spot on offense. They might rotate the three out and just see what sticks....but like you I'd like to see more Grant.
