"Ohio State confirmed the report on Friday morning, though exact details about the potential NCAA violation remain unclear at this point. Multiple sources have indicated that the program is optimistic that Young will be cleared to return to Buckeyes this season, but a resolution for the matter still hasn’t been reached.

“Ohio State’s Chase Young will not play in this Saturday’s game between the Buckeyes and the Maryland Terrapins due to a possible NCAA issue from 2018 that the Department of Athletics is looking into,” a school statement said."

Chase Young just got suspended indefinitely. It might affect his draft stock, but it sounds like an issue about illegal compensation, not PEDs.

It wont affect his stock... Nick Bosa quit on Ohio State last season, couldve easily come back from his injury but wanted to focus on the draft instead, and still got picked very high in the draft..

Chase accepted a loan from someone. His season is most likely over with the way NCAA runs things.. he can now shift his focus on preparing for the combine..

also theyre all on PED’s.. you dont get as big as Joey and Nick get by eating beef and exercise... or as big as the Watt brothers are... thats an unnatural size..

I don't think either would affect his draft stock. I think you'd have to get in trouble with some hard drugs (including alcohol abuse and pot "abuse"), the law (assault, theft, etc.) to really hurt your stock nowadays.

NFL front offices are very aware that these players don't get paid for attracting a ton of money to their respective programs, and given some of these kids' backgrounds, I don't think they care about them pursuing some extra cash wherever they can. I think it's high time for some kind of additional stipend for these kids if the NCAA isn't going to outright pay them.

Probably a bit of wishful thinking. We'd probably have to add a bong video. lol
