Cloudy 60 degree weather. Light wind. Bills are looking to bounce back after a tough loss last week, trying to stay in the race for the division. They see the Patriots are on the road against the Eagles, Pederson thinks he has the recipe on how to beat the Patriots. A win for the Bills is important to them here and they are gunning for the division still meanwhile our team is motivated, and hungry for more wins. i think this will be tight early on.. but the Bills connect on a few big plays and we end up trading Dolphin field goals for Bills touchdowns. bills 24 Dolphins 12
What are we rooting for, LOL? Personally I'd love to see this squad beat the Bills....but they're also our toughest game left. If we won today 8-8 or even 9-7 wouldn't be impossible- this game today could actually have playoff implications! Does it even make sense to hope for a loss anymore though? I think this team is locked into at least 5 wins total with this schedule. Go Fins!
This game has playoff implications for the Bills if nothing else. Also, it's hard to say what might happen as the rest of the season plays out. I thought Miami had a real shot at 0-16 earlier this season, now some talk about 9-7? The Bengals game seems the only one that we should be favored, maybe the Jests too.
I recall the day the Phins beat the Jests and prolonged Wannstadt's tenure by a year. Go Bills! No more trap games!
If the game plan involves a heavy dose of Ballage, I have to go back to wondering about this coaching staff. The OL taking the day off seems to be another issue.
Wow, Miami just turned the clock back to early September football. Maybe the Tua injury has destroyed the Dolphin morale? More like they are facing a slightly above average team in the Bills instead of two bad ones in the Jests and wounded Colts. The lack of talent on both sides of the ball is really showing up now.
Best onside kick I've seen in years. Flores playing with house money. And then Hurns decides to give it back. Didn't make a football move though, but who knows what the refs call.
Sucks, but that was the right call. I would simplify catch rules even further because catching isn't complicated. Demonstrate control of the ball by having it in hand and moving it (tucking etc. ), have two feet inbounds, and that's a catch. Anything after that is a fumble.
And the competitive phase of this game is over..... Or maybe not. Miami Special Teams is keeping us in this one!!
Way to give up on a FG. Playing scared that Buffalo would get the ball back with.... what? Twenty-five seconds on the clock?
Refs making their presence known again. That was never a hold, and if the rules support that call then change the rules...
At least Grant is earning some of his new contract money. I like the 2pt try, to get it to a 1 score game. Miami just won't go away and the Bills will have to keep scoring to win this.
It would be nice to have a fair game called by the refs. Edmonds was tackling Gesiki before the ball got to him, left hand around his waist and turning him.
They fought hard all game, the Bills are just more talented and stronger than we are. We will sweep their candyasses next year
Two plays really decided our fate today- the fumbled pass (that was rules a drop and then overturned) and the phantom holding call on Fitz's 22 yard run. If both of those went our way it was likely a 24-point swing (+14 for us, -10 for them) and it stinks that's how the game unfolded. But it's also another loss against us so I guess it's hard to complain. The announcer made a good point in the 2nd half...for our team to win, they basically have to play perfect football for four quarters with our level of talent.
Well, I didn't get to see the game...again. No surprise here in the Orlando viewing area, but I did listen to it on the radio and followed the play by play on NFL.com and yet again, Miami showed ZERO commitment to the run. It was completely abandoned and it showed. 45 pass attempts to only 12 rushing attempts. You know the Buffalo defense was lining up and sarcastically asking, "gee, I wonder what the fish are going to do this time?". I had hoped that with our two previous wins, we would have shown some overall improvement. The only shining moment was Grant's 101 yard kickoff return, but other than that, this was an utter disgrace.
