While true, that was 15 years ago, 4 head coaching regimes ago and who knows team doctors and front office people.Heck even different ownership.
Just using yours to remark... Not defending, not ridiculing, just pointing out the team’s logic. The team’s medical staff felt at the quarterback position that a rehabbed knee injury was easier to work around than a rehabbed shoulder injury. This was the reason the Dolphins elected to pursue Culpepper over Brees. I knew that was an instant mistake...not for the medical reasons, but my own personal assessment of Daunte Culpepper. Hot garbage.
Anyone else see the WalterFootball draft? Herbert at QB, Swift at RB and Epenesa at DE. I could get behind something like that. Personally, Johnathan Taylor imo is the back to take. And in the draft I mentioned, Tua was still available to us, but we chose Herbert over him. I don't really agree with that move unless the medicals just don't check out. That said, I think we could get excited by Herbert, dude's been a high-end prospect for awhile for a reason.
That's so funny because I have wanted Young then Herbert, but recently figuring that we most likely won't get Young, I have been about to post that we should take Epenesa then Herbert.
