I think that's kind of a stretch. The contract had nothing to do with his employment, it was entirely limited to the practice itself as far as I know.

Also think how silly that is. If the league doesnt want him kneeling they would just make it a league rule. Why would they expose themselves to ridicule?

His other issues dont make sense either. Can he not see why the Falcons wouldnt want a third party taping within their facility for example? It's just a privacy thing, the NFL is very close to the vest.

think what you want. Have you read the waiver they wanted him to sign? It was not a standard waiver that everyone signs. It was different.

Even reading this I still maintain hes a paranoid little brat.

Again like I said...it only matters if he intends to cause further disruptions and lawsuits towards the NFL. His initial lawsuits were ridiculous and frivolous which makes the contract 100% legitimate to begin with.

Also if you know anything about legal language you will know that a broadly worded contract doesnt give you the ability to just do whatever you want and then say its covered. If the terms arent clear in exactly what they mean he would still have a case and the ability to sue.

FWIW I support his right to kneel, however I also dobt believe the NFL is forced to employ him.

If they are really out to get you, then you're not paranoid.

I just fail to see how he's being paranoid. The NFL COULD HAVE USED their standard waiver, which I'm assuming he's signed before for the combine. Instead, they changed their standard waiver. That doesn't make you just a little suspicious? The NFL was absolutely trying to pull a fast one.

That is fair enough too lol

I'm not against him and I think hes at least talented enough to start somewhere.

I just dont think he handled it the best way possible either. I can understand distrust but I dont think there was anything blatantly out to get him here.

There was 0 reason for the league to do anything to stir the drama back up since almost all of us were beyond it. If a team signed him that would have been awesome. If they didnt, why would he care? He wasnt playing already.

The issue hadn’t gone away though. Many acts refused to perform at the super bowl halftime specifically because of the NFLs handling of CKap, and Nike is about to release a CKap shoe.

Then I maintain that even if the NFL said they were trying to pull one over on CKap that you would still maintain that he's a paranoid little brat.

What about this makes it so important to you?

He wasn't being paraniod, the NFL set this up to make themselves look good and try to squash any potential suits.

Flip side? Kap did his part to make it a sideshow as well. Just one big huge mess on both sides. Be glad when when it is in the rear view mirror.

It's not particularly important to me honestly I was just giving my two cents on the situation.

Like I said I believe in his right to kneel or do whatever he wants. I think the NFL is stupid for how it treated the situation.

On the same note though, each NFL team is free to employ whoever they want to or dont want to based on their perceived risk/reward value of said player.

If an executive NFL order came down that said not to sign him, I'd consider that a bit suspicious and obviously wrong. I dont think that is what happened or at least there isnt proof it did to my knowledge.

That is why I say I find his initial lawsuit frivolous and self centered. I feel worse for guys who get suspended for smoking weed.

It is not the NFL, it is 32 different companies. It is technically illegal.
Which is why he won his lawsuit .
