I NEVER want the Cheater to win.

But it helps our draft position.

Naw, root for Brady tonight...it helps us and they're already a lock for the playoffs anyway. It's just a matter whether the Ravens will stomp them earlier or later in the playoffs.

I don't care about draft position with our Houston pick. It hardly matters if we're picking 22 or 26. But I DO care about Brady and NE not winning another SB, and that team does really well with home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Ravens have a great chance to beat NE again (I'm predicting Ravens vs. NE in the conference championships), but I think it will come down to home field advantage.

So I'm definitely rooting against Brady. Guy just needs to retire.

But that could be the difference in a good QB or not.

Doubt it.. draft value difference isn't that big for trades and we're most likely not waiting to pick a QB with our 3rd pick. If this team really wants a particular QB they have the draft capital for a potential trade (still need the trading partner). Besides, you tend to see a serious drop-off in HoF players once you get past the top 15-20 picks and Houston is almost certainly picking outside that range.

In the end it doesn't really matter who we root for since we can't influence the outcome, but I'm rooting for Houston (hate the Pats).

The other thing is that a Houston win gives us two L's on our Strength of Schedule, moving us up for tiebreakers with our own first rounder. Right now, they're ahead of us .492 to .500. A Patriots loss tonight edges us closer.

Go Texans, I don't care about losing a bit of draft position with our THIRD first rounder if it helps prevent the Pats from getting to yet another Super Bowl.

How can anything suck on a day where the Dolphins win and the Jets lose to a 0-11 team?

Wow, is Gase remotely calling plays for the Pats? They've had a long time killing drive when they needed a two minute drill offense. They also need three scores, so why go for a fourth and six? Very odd, like they have already admitted defeat to the Texans.
