Does anyone know if he coaches in 2020 for us,he would have been great coach for our qb. He is a really good qb coach.
If you weren't able to find the answer on the internet, then I seriously doubt anyone here is going to know anything more than what's already been published at the beginning of the season.
There's this from seven days ago: https://www.profootballrumors.com/2019/12/dolphins-jim-caldwell-full-health "Coach Jim Caldwell is back to full health, Fritz Pollard Alliance chairman Rod Graves told Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press (on Twitter). Caldwell joined the Dolphins’ staff in January but took a medical leave in July. This year, Caldwell is once again on the Fritz Pollard Alliance’s list to be a head coaching candidate. It’s not clear if he’ll garner interest as a head coach, but he has the support of Dolphins HC Brian Flores. “He’s been a great coach for a long time. He’s someone who’s been a mentor, someone I can bounce ideas off the entire season,” Flores told reporters on Friday. “Great coach and he would be very worthy of a head coach in this league. I’ll say that over and over and over again.”" And this: https://detroitsportsnation.com/for...rysdale/detroit-lions-news/12/13/2019/215139/
With his history, age and health, I would presume that he's not going to get another HC job. If he and Flores both want to pick up where he left off, I bet there's a job available in Miami.
I would be on board with that. I think we should keep Fitzpatrick another year, so we can sit the QB we draft (Tua, Love?) a year to learn.
