Let's put it this way...Tannehill's issues in this game are against the number 1 ranked defense in the league. Brady's same issues are against a defense that is rated much lower than the Patriots.
The specific issue we're talking about (poor awareness and evasion of pressure) is a trait of Tannehill's and has nothing to do with the strength of opposing defenses.
And regardless of whether a defense is the best or the worst in the league, it will apply pressure, and Tannehill will have poor awareness and evasion of it. You're forgetting your original argument, that his poor awareness and evasion of pressure in that instance was a function of the Patriots' top-ranked defense. At least follow the point you are making.
He had pressure right in his face to me on that interception. He couldn’t get enough on the throw. Romo said it died in the wind. Didn’t look like confusion.
I'm not saying on that throw. Just in general it's been very difficult in NE. They've beat Miami sacking him and have destroyed Miami with stunts in the secondary that threw off his reads. NE is just really good at it. The good news is that Brady is pretty much done.
Hopefully the INT loosens him up and he just let's it rip. Stay out of 3rd n long passing situations.
This is great! These penalties remind me of teams taking free timeouts on fake injuries on the Hurricanes.
Running Henry has nothing to do with not trusting the QB that rescued your season. Running the ball also keeps your opponent's offense off the field and your defense rested. Tannehill's only real bad play on the night was the fumbled snap. That was all him.
Love that Vrable is doing to Bill what Bill has done to others... Bill was snickering when he did this to the stej earlier this season.
It makes sense since the Titan defense has held Brady in check. Ground and pound and let the defense win this game. I agree with the punt there.
Yes. That's what happens when you have an INT. It drops your passer rating significantly. Up until that he point, his PR was higher than Brady's.
