Was this the last time we see Tom Brady?

I think he WANTS to play. Too many great athletes keep wanting to play well past their prime, and Brady is no different. Doesn't really matter though. He's done. I wouldn't be surprised if he's no better than an average QB in terms of production from here on out.

More interesting question for me is whether he stays with NE. I'd love to see him leave just so we can see Belichick without Brady for an extended period of time. It would help settle questions about how much Brady contributed to NE's dynasty.

Yeah, if Bellicheat brought in Rivers and won a Super Bowl with him, it would speak volumes about who was most important to winning in New England. I still remember how the Colts fell apart without Manning and how the Pats went 11-5 with Matt Cassel.

Let Brady go to the Chargers and see how that goes. His arm is done, as far as lasting a full season. Age wins again.

brady is going to get signed by a team.. and i think he wants to stick it to Belichick. I dont think it will be with the Patriots.

If Brady signs with Miami, he can play against New England at least twice a year. Do you think Flores would want him? I hate the idea, as I think Brady is worn out now, but can you imagine?

A team with some pieces like the Chargers, or even the Bears would be really interesting if you added Brady.

The all time greats don't always get to go out with a win. Peyton was lucky enough to do it in Denver, but my last memory of Michael Jordan is playing through a torn meniscus on a below average Washington Wizards team in the early 2000s. My last memory of Kobe Bryant is playing on a terrible Lakers team...Larry Bird didn't even finish his last season in Boston with back issues, Brett Favre ended his iron man streak his last year in Minnesota, Don Mattingly, Emmitt Smith etc...They don't always finish their careers the way they are remembered. They finish injured, or broke down, worn out, but all time greats nonetheless.
With Brady, I think it could go one of three ways and I think it's 33.3% split each way. He either returns to New England with upgrades at Wide Receiver, O Line, and Tight End, or he goes to another team that's looking to catch lightening in a bottle and sell tickets (GOD I HOPE ITS NOT US), or he retires. If he doesn't come back to New England I could see the Bears, Dolphins, and Colts having interest in him. If an established team loses their starter because that does happen from time to time...I could see that mystery team definitely being interested. For instance, if Kirk Cousins were to tear his ACL in preseason or training camp, I could see the Vikings signing Brady. In short, if he wants to play next season, he'll definitely have an opportunity to do so.

Makes me want to throw up thinking about it...

Some have linked Brady to the Chargers but with the Broncos on the rise and the Chiefs being a powerhouse... i say thats unlikely to happen.. raiders arent pushovers either..

who knows what Flores is thinking, no one saw Gailey to Miami happening.. if he doesnt think theres a quarterback to pick in 2020, then he might call brady.

He should have retired last year with a final ring.

Part of me wonders if he and BB are in a stalemate, Tom doesn't want BB to have success with a new QB and render his legacy less relevant.

But dude looks pretty done physically. He tore up an easy early slate before the second half got hard and he had nothing.

If he wants to play, he will have a taker. But I think he either stays or hangs em up.

I think there’s no shot of it whatsoever but if Brady somehow ended up on the Dolphins next year I’d still wish for him to suck.

I feel like its 50/50 that he'll return to New England. But it seems like insiders are all saying that he won't retire.

The Chargers are a commonly mentioned destination.

What about the Cowboys? People are assuming that they'll tag and keep Dak, but what if Brady wants to come there for two or three years?

Brady is from Northern California. What if Garappolo goes out and lays an egg next week? The 49ers can move on from him with a 4.2m dead money hit. That would seem to be an absolutely perfect situation from Brady's perspective.

All the signs point to Brady not being a Patriot next season.

BB is well known for not wanting to keep anybody with little value. If Brady has another season like these last two he will have little value. And as crazy as it sounds, I don't see many teams wanting to bring in Brady at this point.

BB wanted to get rid of Brady for Garop, but Kraft overruled him. Will Kraft do it twice?

McDaniels is most likely leaving. Does Brady want to start over with a new OC?

    Brady's contract is up.

Brady's house is on the market.

    Brady's trainer has moved.

I think Brady figured he could get one more ring this season. I mean, he didn't play all that well last year and they won it all. He played like trash this season and they won 12 games. I think he realizes that he needs better players around him. I think he has always realized this fact and that's why he's always signed cheap contracts.

I REALLY want Brady to go someplace else and fall flat on his face. However, if he retires I love that his last pass was a pick-6...haha
