And, of course, their defense has played great, and Henry has made some great runs. It’s a team game. Doesn’t make RT a game manager.

Game managers don't throw TD dimes (multiple) and have other TD dimes in the mitts dropped, run for firsts on crucial 3rd downs, and run for 9 yards and stay in bounds on 1st down...oh, and run for a TD that required athleticism.

Well that's a good point, and really it doesn't matter whether we call it game manager or low-volume -- those are just interchangeable terms for me, and I realize "game manager" has a negative connotation for some.

If you can name a 22 year old QB that has had more success than Jackson, I will admit that Tannehill is the greatest QB of all time. I'll give you 5 minutes.

Its not that "game manager" has a negative connotation to it. Joe Montana was a game manager. Bob Griese was a game manager. No one would consider them mediocre average quarterbacks.

Historically however, you have referred to Tannehill as such this season; a mediocre quarterback. Tannehill has taken the opportunities when he's had them and executed the game plan as laid out for the offense to be successful. Remember, after Tannehill started, the Titans offense went from 16 points a game to over 30 a game. That's SMART football...and mediocre quarterbacks don't play smart football.

It has a negative connotation for everyone. Try calling any NFL quarterback a “game manager” and see how he reacts.

It’s absurd to say “low-volume” and game manager mean the same thing.

Jackson isn't a quarterback. He's a freak of a running back who throws the ball. He's incredible to watch but, he's not going to have much of a career if he keeps playing like this. First knee injury he has and he's done.

Anyone else see this "fun fact"? Only teams to win multiple games in the same post season with fewer than 100 yards pass yard were the 72 and 73 Dolphins...and the 74 Steelers...and both of those teams won the Super Bowl those years.

Titans last week against New England (71 yards) and tonight against the Ravens (83 yards).

    Interesting!

Well then let me clarify again -- "game manager" has only to do with quantity, not quality, and any quarterback can have a game manager (or low-volume) role in just one game, without being a game manager in general.

The point I was making originally was only that in this week's game as well as last week's, Tannehill had a low-volume involvement in the game in terms of the quantity of his passes, but that this week the quality of his performance was light years better. Hence the game was a blowout instead of a nail-biter.

Another Jackson pass that should've been picked... that's like six or seven that's gone off Defender's hands...

The int came from one of the 7 Ravens drops. That went of the tight end's hands. The fumble was Jackson's fault. No doubt about it.

Either way, congrats to the Titans.
