I hope he never wins a SB. Reid is a win-at-any cost sleaze who rosters multiple domestic abusers.

You do realize that Tannehill led the Titans to a win against the Chiefs this season, right?

You kinda beat me to the punch on this. I was going to say that if Kansas City were to fall that far behind the Titans, there's no way they're going to be able to catch up. With the Titans' style of play; old school ground and pound, controlling the clock and maintaining long sustained drives, opposing offenses don't get that many opportunities.

In regards to Tannehill versus the Chiefs' defense, in their November 10th match-up, Tannehill was 13-19 for 181 yards and 2 touchdowns, recording a 141.2 qbr. Derrick Henry also had 23 rushes for 188 yards, averaging 8.2 yards per carry. Their defense recorded two sacks on Mahomes and I personally feel their defense is better now than they were earlier in the season.

This is really going to be an exciting game and this one is REALLY going to come down to defense. Can Tennessee put enough pressure on AND contain Mahomes while covering Kelce, Hill and Watkins? Can Kansas City find a way to stop Derrick Henry while at the same time not get lit up by Tannehill on play action? This is really going to be a great game and I just personally feel that the Titans are coming into this game confident and not going to be intimidated. They've already beat the Chiefs earlier this season so they know they CAN win, but this is going to be the biggest stage thus far for the Titans.

Who's going to win? I can't say...I HOPE the Titans do. I want complete redemption for Tannehill and I so want him to come back to Miami to play for all the marbles, but this is going to be a tough AFC Championship game.

You know, I'm going to go one further to go one further than just disdain for your irrelevant comments.

Watch if you dare and what I want you to even TRY to take notice of is the one thing about Tannehill's throws to his receivers...he's EXTREMELY accurate and hits his receivers in stride.

You're constantly vomiting "low volume". Allow me to retort with a combat analogy. I'd rather have a sniper take one shot, one kill than the stupid notion of spray enough bullets downrange and you'll eventually hit something.

To summarize the first minute of that video, he basically says, "I don't know anything about the Dolphins, Tannehill or even NFL football, but subscribe to my videos!" The rest was even worse commentary so I'll spare everyone the other 4 minutes.

Sadly, this is what millennial call entertainment these days...endless banter without ever making a single concrete point. For instance, the sky is blue and God made the sky, so obviously God is a Ryan Tannehill fan and they'll win the Super Bowl. Maybe that would sound cute from a 5 year old, but I can't understand for the life of my why young adults will listen to that type of drivel 15 hours a day.

That's not like you Key. You typically have constructive quantifiable commentary. You did watch it ALL, didn't you?

No comments about the TEAM that was built around Mariotta?
No comments about the LACK of team that wasn't built around Tannehill in Miami?
No comments about the talent that surrounds teams with "elite" quarterbacks?
No comments about how even a veteran elite quarterback in Miami wouldn't have anymore success than Tannehill did?

This is not like you. It's quite surprising.

The only thing I got from that is that Kansas City is a 7 1/2 point favorite over Tennessee. I'm just trying to figure out how they're going to score a half point?

It just means there's no possibility of a "push" where neither side wins and you get your money refunded. So if KC was a 7 point favorite and they won by exactly 7 you'd have a push and neither win nor lose any money.

The 51.5 O/U refers to total points = 51.5 and you can bet O = over or U = under.

Basically it means if you bet the Titans and the Titans were to lose by 7? The half is sort of like a tie breaker so the Titans would still cover the spread. In turn if the Chiefs were to win by 7 the Chiefs would lose the bet.

O/U is total points scored by both teams in the game.

I did watch the entire video and again, he did not say a single thing that an average NFL fan wouldn't know...but he also lied quite a bit in the video as well because of his arrogance of assumptions. For instance, he said-

    - Tannehill never had a solid running back or receiver
    - Miami didn't draft linemen or receivers
    - Miami didn't try to build through the draft
    - Tannehill was a washed-up, dejected, OVER THE HILL quarterback in Miami
    - Tannehill's only good year in Miami was 2016
    - Tannehill played his best football ever in 2019

I don't agree with a single one of those statements except maybe the last one...and he only did better this season because he was asked to do so much less. The majority of the video is saying how Tennessee built offensive pieces around Mariota but every team at every level does that...some obviously aren't as successful as others but that doesn't mean Miami didn't draft Tunsil, Landry, Drake, Ajayi, James, Parker, etc. etc. etc. In fact, the video almost completely glazes over that Tannehill was out hurt for basically two of the last three seasons and instead says he was washed up and dejected...none of that is remotely true.

The video also never even mentions another coach or player except for Henry (and Mariota). He's right on that point- Tennessee did draft a stud of a back. But again, did he have to tell you that for you to come to that realization? Of course not. He's trying to teach on about a 5th grade level and I personally find that insulting. He didn't bring up a single reason why RT evolved in Tennessee except for "there's better players there." Well duh.

As I said in the other post, there is zero substance in that video...it's all generalized statements based on the creator's common sense and he's flat-out wrong quite a bit. I mean, in the eight years on this forum, how many fans have said that Tannehill is "over the hill" at 27 years old? It's what folks in the industry call a fluff video- five minutes of talking without a single unique point being made.

As we all should be happy for Tannehill, I think anyone who attempts to discredit what Russell Wilson has done would be a ridiculous insinuation.

It is legit, there have been a plethora of tweets from former Dolphins congratulating RT.

It was a toxic environment, and has been for a long time.

Flores is about to change that

While impressive, the statistical statement of RB's, and the numbers they produce, vs 8 (or more) defenders in the box can be misleading. The other vital piece of information that needs to be known is the offensive personnel and formation. As a defense I can put 8 in the box, but that is only sufficient vs, say for example, tight sets featuring 21 or 12 personnel. As soon as the offense lines up in tight 2x2, 3x1 sets with 13, 22, 23, personnel the offense gains the gap numbers advantage and even so with 9 in some cases of the examples given. Cross formation motion also gives similar advantages for the offense.

Obviously Henry is a powerful back, and is capable and proven to be capable of winning his downhill battles, but that is just a gripe I have concerning incomplete statistical information often leading to false presumptions of offensive capabilities and their production vs certain defensive fronts.

    Thanks for sharing regardless.
