There wasn't anybody on the Dolphins o-line that was over 265 lbs, they would get mauled by todays players.

i put money on the colts to win it all, only because i got great odds

if i had to guess, i would say the pats take it all. but i would not be surprised if the colts do beat them.

one thing we have to remember, bellichick always has something new for the playoffs. it seemed like they have been doing the same thing for the past 8 weeks, adding no new wrinkles. but you can be sure that bellichick will have some great game plans for the playoffs

in terms of talent, i would say it is basically even between the pats and colts. i may even throw SD in there, but they are not as well coached, and they are lacking at the QB position.

If they play today, I don't think those same players would be at 265, but the same type of heart would still be there.

Do you think these guys just became 300+, these monsters are more muscle bound because of many factors, bring in those guys from the 70s, have them eat what these guys eat, workout like these guys workout, and even take some of the supplements that these guys take, and they are just as big.

Weight doesn't necessarily mean more strength and it sure doesn't equate to more toughness and more heart. Let's see some of today's players drive have the bone marrow drilled out of their arm and have a steel rod pounded up into it so they could play in a game with a broken arm like Kooch did.

Zonk, Kooch, Little and other players of those times like Ditka, Nitschke, Curtis, Bubba Smith,e etc. were much meaner and tougher than any of today's players.

Besides the two best defensive players we've had for years are JT and Zach and I would hardly describe them as "big" football-wise.

I thought we were talking about the actual players playing each other. Sorry, I'm wrong I suppose.

Heart is great but we're talking every single defender in front of them having at least 40 lbs on each man and in some cases much much more, that is just asking way to much, even for men of the caliber we had.

Not once this season have I watched a Patriots game to see the greatness that they have so graciously bestowed upon us. I watch their games to see which team can knock them off. If Randy Moss wasn't on that team this season, they aren't going into the playoffs undefeated.
