Does anyone know what time this medical exam is supposed to happen? If he gets full clearance today for all football activities he will be on the field tomorrow throwing ...and he will start running on the field. It is going to be a circus.

I couldn't find any updates, so I'm thinking maybe it's on testing he's already had and they're just waiting for an "all clear". In any case, there's nothing out there either way.

Edit-scratch that. I still can't find anything on medicals but he is expected to take the field starting today. So he must be fully clear.

"#Bama QB Tua Tagovailoa had his four-month scans today on his dislocated hip, and sources described them as “very good with no concerns.” Essentially, as positive as possible. Accordingly, he’ll now begin the slow progression of activity to get his body ready for play." - Ian Rapoport via Twitter

"Like any injury, those involved with Tua Tagovailoa’s rehab will closely monitor the script and his progression so as not to overload the hip. The draft prospect remains on track... " - Ian Rapoport via Twitter

Personally I dont really like Tua as a QB regardless of injury and the more I watch I'm not sure Burrow will succeed either.

Since this thread is specifically about Tua let's talk about him.

    1) Hasnt shown the ability to fit the ball into tight windows because his WR are always three feet open.

    2) Doesnt have elite mobility to counter his average arm strength.

    3) Has poor NFL form on the deep ball. Dont confuse this with accuracy. What I mean is that his release is kind of slow and he does a long swing of his back leg forward when tossing it because his arm isnt strong enough to make the throws without body monentum. Injury and strip sacks waiting to happen.

    4) Durability concerns. I dont care if he is fully healed from the last injury, I guarantee he will be dinged up his entire career.

    5) Being a lefty, my concern isnt flipping the offense around, its protecting his blind side with the RT position. Its not easy as playing a good LT on the right. You need an actual RT who can pass block like a LT.

If we draft him I'm going to support him, but I just dont see what others do in him. He is very clearly a great college QB who doesnt transition well to the next level.

His agent has been working the media with these so called medical reports.. he is banking that all this money he is ponying up to get these networks to talk about Tua will pay up, and he is hoping that the Dolphins are the suckers that prevent the fall.

i predict there will be 3 bama players picked before Tua.
