I'd love it if that happened. I don't think it will.

I’ve been a big opponent to taking Tua at 5. Would love him at 18, even though I’d rather have Herbert. Good value there but don’t think it would happen.

I've had this happen in mock simulations. While I do not trust in Tua's health, it still would be a fine start to the draft.

Can somebody tell me, what position is Edge?

    Is it OLB/DE?

Both, it depends on the defense., an edge player plays as an OLB in a 3-4 odd front, but can also play as a DE in a 4-3 even front.

I think we'd have to trade up to #13 to get Tua if he was dropping. A third and fifth would be enough for the Niners to move down, and I'd take the Center Ruiz at #26. I'm putting the best OL possible in front of Tua and hoping for the best (though Fitzmagic should start all or most of the 2020 season).

Pats might jump in and snag a QB before he drops to #18 and just ruin that.

    Thanks very much.

l had an idea it was an outside defender, but wasn’t sure.
