Ha. If he lights it up, well, of course I'll be happy. I'm always a phin fan first. However, I do think this was a mistake. It's actually the first move by the new regime that I really don't like. This is why I wonder if it was more Ross or a collaborative decision and to what extent. Of course I'll give Ross credit if Tua turns out to be great and a lot of picking him was due to his influence. I have no problem admitting I am wrong. I am wrong a lot. I hope i am here, but......I think it was the wrong pick. What's done is done.

Wills gone, we are no better right now than we were when the draft started.

I just can't wait for you to stop pissing and moaning about it. Right now, you are being a colossal sized baby about this and it would be really great if you would just dry it up for a few minutes. Eat a hot pocket and chill bro.

Also to everyone who disagrees with me, I'd LOVE to be wrong. I actually thought I'd be okay with picking him, turns out I'm not. I have to live with it, but I'm skeptical until he shows actual ability on the field.

You mean like throw with accuracy, find the open man and throw one heck of a deep ball? You’re right he doesn’t do anything well; sigh.

I'm not being a baby, we made a very dumb pick. Like, incredibly stupid. I'm allowed to voice that opinion whether you agree on not.

Hes not accurate on NFL level throws with any pressure and his deep ball is accurate, but his form is incredibly elongated and his hips swing incredibly wide/hard to create torque on the ball because he lacks arm strength.

    Next?

I can respect that. My hope is that we sit him for a year. He should be in great shape, know the playbook, and be ready to go by year 2. That's the other advantage of having Fitzpatrick. We don't have to rush Tua.

Ok....So you've already made your mind up. And here we go with this ****...You'll be that dude that immediately rips him when he does something wrong. I imagine you'll be on the frontlines of the Tua debates that will emerge over time JUST TO PUSH YOUR AGENDA. You'll never admit being wrong if the guy turns out to be a star. I know your type.

Fair enough. But we really don't know right now. Some here are guaranteeing failure by Tua. That's rediculous.

I have watched film on Tua, he is not completely wrong, only thing about tua that translates is his accuracy, but his overall play style does not translate.

Anyway Tua is a Dolphin now so let's drop it. I'm not happy but it's not like I can change history. I've lived through our mistakes before and I'll live now. Hopefully it works.

    #18 should be interesting.

It's going to work, have some friggin faith dude. He's definitely got to get better in a few key areas, but let him sit for a year and the intrigue will return in 2021.

Well, I wasn't sold on Tagovailoa and not realy sure how I feel about the pick. I know our team has SOOOO many holes to fill and there's no way Tagovailoa will be ready to start the beginning of the season. I wouldn't want that anyhow. Hell, Marino sat behind Woodley until week 6 so I'm not expecting him to start anytime soon.

I just hope and pray we can build the remainder of the team, particularly the offensive line and a reliable running back. If the Dolphins hope that he alone is going to be the answer, we're going to be in for disappointment.

Like I said, I wasn't sold. My feelings have been perfectly clear but it is what it is. Welcome to Miami Tua. Now get your a$$ to work young man!

The emerging prototype QB is the Russell Wilson/Patrick Mahomes/Kyler Murray-type player.

you won’t get that, and I don’t want a lame *** apology either.

Just enjoy the ****ing show, and buy your Tua jersey once he tears it up.

Yes, these are college numbers but numbers in the toughest conference
    As a Sophmore splitting reps with Hurts 245 / 355 = 69% with 43TD against 6 picks
    Junior: 180 / 252 = 71% with 33TD against 3 picks

Those are video game numbers and so I’ll give you something he doesn’t do which is Turn the ball over.

Tua does not have the arm, creativity or mobility of any of those guys. Tua's only exceptional quality is his accuracy.

That is aside from the fact that he is'nt as durable as any of them.
