There is actually a lot of talent here worthy of the pick, so just please nothing out of left field and I'll be happy.

You know going back and reading through the comments, it's a damn shame that the Dolphins brass did not come on here and consult all the NFL talent experts floating around.

While I agree with you in this case, sadly, in the past, the commenters here have indeed been smarter than the Dolphins' front office.

Noone is claiming to be an expert.

However, it seems many here believe a negative evaluation of a player is automatically invalid for some reason. It's really illogical and I'll never understand that closed minded thinking.

Evaluating NFL talent isnt like being a doctor. It's something a normal person through self training can accomplish. What we miss most in our evaluations is the ability to interact with the prospects which cant be replicated.

Trade down, I'm ok with that, as long as they actually make good picks from know on.

First round grade is a C so far.

I like the trade for the simple fact there are more players I'd be fine with than slots lost moving back.

I guess I give them the benefit of the doubt as this is a new front office. Give the players the opportunity to play before you flush them down the toilet. I have faith in Florez

I’m really getting tired of all these depressing *** segments Trey Wingo does during the draft. He’s been doing it for years. They just talked to Jordan Love about his dad who killed himself.

Certainly not an overwhelming trade, but we are only moving back 4 slots and personally I would guess the players we are looking at may not be the "best remaining" on some of the pundit's lists.

Secondary note, is it just me or does like every other prospect have a dead father?

Wingo keeps comparing the Love pick to when the Packers drafted Rodgers. Rodgers fell to GB (like #23 I think). They moved up to get Love. Big difference IMO.

No, as far as I know we only netted a 4th rounder in this trade. Traded our #26 for their #30 and #136. I think we could have gotten more.

They went further than GB did. Also pointless to speculate since they traded ahead of us.

Man Seattle has made some BIG reaches in the last few drafts. Will see if this guy turns out better than Collier last year.
